Coffee Cake...Cuppa...Chit Chat And Crochet...

Started the day off bright and early,
with a vigorous workout at Fitness...

Headed over to my favorite grocery store, and picked up a few things and dinner fixins...

Went to see Macy for a relaxing pedicure and manicure...even did a crossword while my feet were being worked on....

Once at home, I cut the nearly last of my beautiful peonies...there are still a few buds, but never sure if they will bloom or not....Filled 3 vases...even found 2 more white ones hiding under all the foliage.... :o)

Got to work on my infamous Coffee Cake...this time I added some blueberries....almost ready...

The whole house smells of Peonies and cinnammony [is that a word ] Coffee Cake....just waiting for my friend to arrive for some coffee cake...cuppa...chit chat...and she is going to crochet...she is still plugging away on that blanket....tee hee hee...

I think of all the teacups I have....this birch tree one is definitely high on my list of favorites....love the detail....

We chatted...drank tea....ate cake....

It was lovely....

Watched the birds....drank tea....

Crocheted......

Enjoyed this day VERY much....

Hope you all had a nice day...

What did you do????

Finished the day with a lovely dinner....BBQ'D Maple Salmon filet...grilled
asparagus {Canadian is now available }...and some red potatoes

                                     YUMMY!!!

Went with a pale pink polish this time
Think I like the brighter colors better....
Oh well......still looks nice and clean....
Boy.....my FEET are even staring to look old...
                                   SIGH...........

                       Cheers                       :o)

  4. Your coffee cake looks delicious and you have such lovely tea cups. It sounds like you had a lovely afternoon with your friend. Do you crochet? if so, what are you making? We just had our new deck finished so we got the gazebo up today. I'll have to get photos tomorrow.

  5. Coffee cake and tea. Yummy! Looks great Linda. We had salmon, red potatoes and salad for supper. And the sun peeked through at suppertime. By Thursday it should be sunny again. Have a good Wednesday!

  7. It looks like a perfect day! The coffee cake looks scrumptious! My nana had many, many pretty tea cups and when she passed away I didn't want anything except a crocheted blanket made by her sister, 2 small ceramic thingies and a few of her tea cups. My best memories are with my nana, drinking her "white rose tea". Unfortunately my aunt has all of them and is not ready to give any up. It has been 8 years now and I keep thinking maybe I should just go buy some. Not worth starting a family feud but oh, I would love some of those cups.

I am glad you had such a lovely day.
