One Day Later.....

The morning after our big snowfall...

You can see that pesky "Red" scurrying up one of the cedars...

See him on the bottom right...

That "red" little scoundrel...

He never misses a trick!!!!

He must have sensed that the birds were heading to the feeders...

To....

Dig their way into the seeds...

Hidden....

Under a snow dome!!!!

I had not had Gold Finches for a few months...

I had put the Nyger seed away for the year...

So......

I was happy to see them..

And...........I got some great shots from the kitchen....

With my....

FANTASTIC new zoom lens.......

                                 ENJOY!!!!!!!!

I sure hope you all had a great day....

We took a drive to the Lake....

Lots of nice snowy pictures to share!!!

On the menu for this Friday After Christmas...

Small roast pork seasoned with sea salt and freshly
                                ground black pepper

A few roasted onions and potatoes

Fresh asparagus that we picked up today  ...

Probably some tomato, avacado and goat cheese as well....

                                       If I feel so inclined.....:o)

                 Enjoy your evening...

Perhaps a late evening walk for my boyfriend and I...

                               Cheers!  :o)

    you won't believe this . . .
my snow finally happened! just the way i wanted it to. this morning about 9am it started CALMLY and lightly snowing. it was fine but fairly thick. it covered quickly. everything covered in white. so beautiful and quiet.
then the sun came out and now it's gone! all in the same day. LOL.
was it a dream? no. there are still some patches to prove it was here. but you have to look quick here or you'll miss it.
    but hey ~ who's complaining?
it SNOWED dear heart! and without ice first! yay!
