Feathers.....Also Called Angels....

On our morning walk...

I spotted these feathers along the beach...

One of my readers....Lisa from "The Hollyhock Wall" blog...in Britain...

Had commented once, that she calls them Angels..

Those words have stuck with me...so sweet...  :o)

I told her...that I would pass that along to my Vivian, when she is older...

I thought it was a very quaint sentiment....

Very warm here today...

My boyfriend is outside reading....as I sneak this post in..tee hee hee...

I have some gorgeous ribs boiling right now...

My sauce all made...

Ready to pop in the oven for a nice slow roast...

Good thing I love cooking so much,eh???

So....

On the menu tonight....ribs...baked beans...greek salad...

For now...I think I will grab 2 cold ones...

And head down to those favorite beach chairs...take in the view...

Watch the sunset...while my dinner cooks..

I took these pictures of doll face the day before we left...   :o)

Thanks for all your comments about my mystery spammer...

Thanks to Crafty Gardener for the tip...

Let's hope she/he doesn't take the time to make a google identity...

Enjoy your evening....I hear it is pretty cold up there...

Off I go to the chairs!!!!

                    Cheers!  :o)

  1. Right now I am not wearinf my glasses so just ignore my errors.

I have always said that feathers were left by angles but the only time I told someone I got a look like I was nutso. I still think some of them are left by angels and I have told my kids so. I well tell my grandbabt too/

  2. Thank-you my dear friend Linda, I do run the risk of sounding "crackers" but it is worth it, I found a little white feather at the allotment this morning and thought of you!
    See it works!

Vivian has a lovely angelic little face, so pretty. Just how Charlotte was as a baby, cute as can be.

Dinner sounds good . I will be watching Jamie again this evening, I love his style and approach, makes me think I can do it too.
    Have a great time.

  3. Terrible scammers....
    Pretty feathers found...
spent yesterday with daughter in hosp.
she went in with pains and turns out after 24 hours of ct scan and
ultra sound that she had a burst cyst on her appendix. so they operated last night and took out appendix and anything else that looked suspicious.
On our way now to pick her up. Boy they rush them home.....

  4. I love to think of you basking while the ribs cook. I'm sure you make a lot of folks very happy with your wonderful meals! Especially your boyfriend! You asked about my white afghan-a thrift store find, The same picture (but bigger) is on my Jan. 29th post called More White For Winter. Seems like a simple design. A lot of folks have commented on it, maybe you could get a side business going making afghans! :0) Carry on, my dears.
