Perfectly Pink Tulips.....

 What is it about Tulips????

Especially Pale Pink Tulips...

These joined me over a week ago....

And they still look perfect...

I love when they splay out....almost like they are bending to the light....

Did you know that Tulips continue to grow....even after they are cut....

They say if you put a copper penny in the bottom of the vase....

It will keep them from drooping....

I have done this....sometimes it works....

Sometimes it doesn't....

Do you buy yourself Flowers?

I try to keep fresh flowers in the house at all times...

Just kinda makes you feel good...

You know???

Enjoy.......

Kinda of a drab day here...

Had some rain earlier...

Still on the warmish side...

But, that is all going to change...

Got some groceries in...

 Beef Stew in the Crock-Pot...

Bit of laundry going on....

Ran into a nice friend at the grocery store, and talked way too long...:o)

On the menu tonight....

Baked Maple Syrup Salmon filet...

Yukon Gold mashed taters...

Fresh Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese.....

Hope you all had a Perfectly Pink Day....

Vivian will be here shortly for a visit...can't wait!!!

      Enjoy your evening....

                Cheers!   :o)

  1. Beautiful photos Linda. I love tulips, as you know, and am currently enjoying a beautiful bouquet of coral carnations that are now over a week old and still looking very fresh. I like how your added a shelf across the top of your bay window and also the bottom of it for display. It looks very nice. I also like your sofa and coffee table. It's sunny and warm at +8 here. Yay! Rain is coming though.

The sky photos from the previous post were great, thought I had commented but guess I didn't ... am I getting older and forgetful?

  6. I do buy myself flowers! When I was poor as poor could be I would buy myself carnations because they were cheap and lasted forever.

  10. It continues to be drab, but spring is just around the corner.
Your tulips are quite cheery. I don't typically buy myself flowers, nor do I like to cut them from my own gardens, but maybe I should. :0)
