Yesterday At The Lake.....

Took a nice drive to the Lake yesterday....

Everything looked great....

Hardly any snow....

We have 10x's as much snow at home here....

Just a big ice berg at the shoreline...

Hardly anything on the lawn...

Lots of standing water...which is good news...as the ground really needs moisture...

Hopefully it will be absorbed into the roots...

There was a huge flock of Canada Geese...readying themselves to take off...

And what a lot of honking that was!!!!

Our neighbours...who are now permanent residents...had rented a winterized place nearby...are now back  at the Lake...with their water on!!!

Hopefully we can get ours on soon...

Usually by Easter...

Then you know...

The season has begun!!!

But......

We will still have to wait for this to melt...

It was 8 celsius out there yesterday...so that will help things along...

Some years, there is still ice floating around...and you can actually watch it melt!!

The addition to the deck, looks better everytime I see it...

Can't wait to landscape around it...

Perhaps purchase a few new pieces to sit on!!!

My boyfriend was looking for me...

And....I was in the shed getting some birdseed...

SO..

I took a picture of myself...

Well...

Actually 2!!!!!

It was lovely and toasty in there!!!

A few things were poking thru the ground...

A Hollyhock...

And some day lilies...

And....

I found a feather...

Another Angel   :o)

Hope you all had a great day....

We thoroughly enjoyed yesterday...and I got some thrift shopping in as well...

Got some really cool things....will share later....:o)

On the Menu tonight....

Oh Yeah..... we are going to friends for dinner....YAY!!!!

            I don't have to cook!!!!

                Cheers!   :o)

  2. I'm sure it was wonderful to visit the cottage .. Water looks cold and I wonder how the ducks & geese don't freeze. I went out thriftiness yesterday and got some glass pieces to make a totem for a friend's birthday.

  4. It looks so nice there Linda. I love the water shots with the ice along the shore. It'll soon be gone and you'll be relaxing on your new deck watching the sunsets. It was cloudy and cool again today. I'm so tired of this and next week looks like showerey weather. Oh well, the snow will melt from it maybe. I like the mirror photo of you. :) Hugs, Pam

  6. Great picture of you!

I could be quite happy living in your little shed providing that I have a space heater. It looks so cold where you are!
