A Love Story....

 The other evening...

While we were BBQ'ing...

I grabbed my camera...

To do a walk around...

When I looked into one of our feeders...

Was I surprised to see this...

They had been on my bathroom window sill...

And my boyfriends as well...

Obviously they decided to set up house...

In the bird feeder!!!

 A while later...

Mrs. flew in...

While...

Mr....

Was laying in the garden...

Mrs. looked down at Mr...

He said "I'm right here"...

Mrs. said...

"Go and get something to eat...

Then...

Come back here...

And....

Sit up here...

So...

I can get something to eat!"

Mr. replied...

"No problem doll-face!!"

While they were under the feeders eating...

2 Sparrows flew in...

Had a look around...

Moved on...

"Are you looking at my Mrs?"

As the sun was setting...

Mr joined Mrs....

Hopefully the eggs will hatch and all will live happily ever after...

Hope you all enjoyed the Love Story....:o)

  1. I love these bird photos! You're so funny, "dollface"! LOL. Vivian is so pretty and her eyes are so interesting! I wonder what will happen as she gets older. Mine were born with bright blue eyes which turned gray-green like their daddy's (mine are brown). But my daughter has a streak of gold through one of her eyes, it's really pretty. Maybe that came from my brown genes, who knows. :)

  3. What a beautiful and sweet love story with your love doves. Now you might be able to watch them nesting and see the babies be born. Hopefully a night critter with a mask won't find them first! Cool, rainy and windy here today too but warmer weather is coming on the weekend. Yay!

  6. Well, I think that is a charming place for a nest! I haven't seen any nesting going on here...they must be high up in the pines.

  7. Mourning Doves will nest anywhere! Usually, they pick a spot that is not very out of sight. Silly birds!!!
