The Spectacular Sedum....

      Thought I would spotlight...

One of my favorite...

Most versatile...

Hearty....

Easy to grow....

ANYWHERE...

Plant...

The Sedum...

Belonging to the CRASSULACEAE Family...

Members commonly known as "Stonecrop"...

The name certainly suits...

AS..

It seems to grow ANYWHERE!!!
These are a few photos from summers past...

Hope you enjoy them...

Sedums start out like tiny cabbages...

As the summer progresses...they grow larger and pinker...

The Monarch Butterflies love them....

As...do I...

Perhaps you have a few Sedum in your garden...

They look fabulous thru all the seasons....and so easy to care for...

Check out this sweet photo of Vivian...

A friend of her Moms' took it....

This should be in a frame....yes????

Hope you are all having a great day so far...

We are heading out to the cottage...to do some raking!!!

Hopefully a nice sunny day...

Will report back with anything new!!!!

Have a wonderful day...

                            Cheers!  :o)

  6. I love sedum and you're right, it will grow anywhere. I've even stuck 1 stem in the ground that was accidentally broken off and it has grown into a big bush! It is very hardy and will grow in sun and shade. Great pictures. l like the pale pink blooms. That is a sweet photo of Vivian. Love her smile.

  10. That little granddaughter of your is getting cuter all the time!

Although I don't have any sedum in my outdoor gardens, they are something I've always found alluring. Maybe I'll have to hunt some down this year. :)
