Basket of Beauty...

This basket was from one of my daughters...

It has a flat side...

I thought...

How perfect...

To hang...

On..

One of my big trees...

At the cottage....

I think...

It looks...

Spectacular...

Any thoughts?

I used...

Lime Green Potato Vine...

A few Cosmos...

And...

My favorite...

Dragon-Wing Begonias...

Quite a nice threesome,eh?

Hopefully...

The Vine will get HUGE...

The Cosmos will FLOWER...

And the Begonia will only get more BEAUTIFUL!!!

Speaking of beautiful....:o)

We had a wee visitor yesterday...

In her cute litle white skirt and Blue Jays shirt...for Canada Day!!!

Hope you all had a great day...

Lots to do today...

On the menu tonight...

Baked Filet of Sole...Pasta/Feta/Pepper salad...Spinach salad

Trying to eat more fish...and whittle a few inches off my Granny waist!!

Enjoy the rest of your day...

Lots of new stuff in the garden....how about you???

Working on a few posts...

                   Cheers!  :o)

  1. The basket looks so pretty, Linda. That was a great idea for a way to use it. That little girl looks so patriotic in her outfit! I hope you had a nice holiday.

  2. LOVE the basket idea; I have a few places that would work. The "wee one" looks adorable in her Blue Jays outfit ... same colors as the Chicago Cubs, I might add ... just sayin ..... LOL Linda

  6. Your basket looks great. I used to do baskets of plants but after a few years the baskets were showing weather fatigue. It seems every time I go out the garden something else has popped open or needs snipping down (daisies are starting to seed) or those darn weeds have popped up again. Had a busy day with the grandkids so didn't get much time outside.

    1. I take them in in the winter, after emptying them...
That is why I look for baskets at the thrift shops during the winter...
A good spray paint works wonders as well!!
My daisies are just opening!!! You are ahead of me!
Glad you spent time with the kiddies...nothing else like it!

    2. My shasta daisies are just opening, the oxeye daisies are just finishing.
I took my baskets inside as well, but had never used spray paint on them. I'll be on the lookout for more to try with your method.
