Calm....Captivating.... Cottage Colour........

These are a few of the colourful shots I captured last weekend at the cottage....

It was pretty darn difficult to pare them down...

Man...

I take a lot of pictures!!!

The Tall Miscanthus alongside the beach deck...

Was just developing some plumes...

These are about 8' tall...

Can't wait to cut some to bring home...

For my winter landscape...

Below are a few of my baskets...still going strong...

A few Geraniums to pot up and bring home for the winter...

I must say...

I was pleasantly surprised to see these Cleome still budding and blooming...

Perhaps I can gather a few seeds for next year...

Aren't they beautiful???
I spy a wee buggie!!!!
Do you remember Mona????   Mona Lavender???? Still putting out tiny orchid like flowers...think I will bring her home this weekend...see if I can over-winter....worth a shot,eh??

I do believe I see a tiny spider hanging on the left!

This pathway that I created, to the new deck addition...

Has become a favorite of mine...

I plan to photograph it in all seasons...

I just love the way this looks...

"You are entering the beach deck...Welcome friends!"

Sorry...

I got kind of carried away there...

  5. Lovely still seeing blooms at the cottage. Glorious day today, did some yard clean up, dug some tender perennials, still contemplating bringing the fuchsia inside, dug several pots of creeping jenny into the ground to overwinter, took apart my tipsy pots :( and bought some new tulips and daffodils to plant.
