The Moon On The Breast Of The New Fallen Snow.......

The Moon on the breast of the new fallen snow...

Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below....

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear...

But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer...

                             *****

I went outside last night to get a few pics of the moon....

And look what I found!

Hope you all had a great day...

More shopping???

More baking????

I had a pretty productive day...I must say!!

Enjoy your evening everyone♥

                                     Cheers!  :o)

  1. You have certainly put me in the festive mood. It's so nice to see Santa is on route.... One of his helpers stopped by my house today to give me bits of Christmas Joy! Cheers back to you Linda.

  2. Very cool! I hope he's headed this direction. :)
Loved the morning sunshine on the snow today. Just couldn't resist a walk around the back of Barn 3. So pretty.
We've added a flicker and 3 mourning doves to our bird watching collection.

  4. Love the coloured lights on the snow in your yard. Beautiful! I put the same quote on my Facebook profile the night before last about 11:00. I had looked out the window at the moon shining on the yard and the trees had shadows, just like mid-day! I did not see a miniature sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer though. LOL I sure was beautiful. Wish I could get a decent photo of the full moon. My zoom, even on my new camera, is not the right one. :( We had snow here most of the day - about 8 cm. Got to go to town tomorrow and finish! More snow coming Friday to Monday!!!

  5. Love the first photo, Linda. I'm still working on the gifts but everything else is done. I will be very busy cat-sitting now until after Christmas. It does take up lots of my time so I have to be organized since the dinner is always at our home. We will have nine at Christmas. So, what....no dinner tonight?

  9. Your snow pictures are so lovely. Santa's a might early, isn't he? Perhaps that was a test run to make sure all was well with his team and the sleigh.

  10. You caught them on film! They must be real, then! :) The snow looks really pretty. I saw the moon rising behind the mountain last night and it was really beautiful.
