What Spring Really Looks Like....

As I awoke to rain...dreariness...windiness...I got to thinking...

This is not like the SPRINGS I remember...

So...I went searching...and BOY did I find some great SPRING pics...

     The delicate blooms...

     The Birds enjoying life...

Garden beds all raked from their Winter nap...

Robins bob-bob-bobbing along...and splashing in the bird bath...

Summer screens up....ready to prepare the sunporch...

Late day sun shadows...so warm...so tasty!!

Ahhhh..but not yet...we have to wait a wee bit longer...

            To finally enjoy...

All that SPRING has to offer...

            But for now...

I think the boyfriend and I will build a beach bonfire...

            Sit back...watch the sunset...♥️

                                       ********

Hope you are all having a great day...

Can you believe April is next week???

                           I am ready......

                                 Are you?

                                        Cheers!  :o)

  2. Where I live we don't get real spring until the end of May, and part of June. Mostly, we get mud. Mud is what we call spring. But I don't mind.

  3. You take such beautiful pictures Linda. I always enjoy seeing what you see in your yard and on the beach, at the lake, out the window. The photos are always clear and sharp too. Did you notice what the dates were on those pictures? Was it April or May or June? Do you think it will be June before we see that this year?? I sure hope not. I'm glad April is next week. We need a change. lol

  7. That is what spring SHOULD look like! Let's hope it does soon. What a winter this has been. It just doesn't want to go away. I'm so looking forward to being able to sit outside, listen to the birds, enjoy the garden, and snap a million photos. I bet you are, too!

  8. The best is yet to come. And it won't be long now. It is positively mild outside and the rain is getting rid of all that dirty snow. Yah! Love the photo looking out from inside the cottage. Very nice. Just spent the day with Gwyn again. I am one spoiled nana.

  11. There's nothing like preparing the sunporch. That's when you know there's gonna be more sunshine. Spring is without a doubt my favorite season, Linda. Enjoy the weekend. Somehow I know that's not gonna be a problem :)

  13. I thought you were about to post "reality" photos.
It was dreariness and wind here too, but we went to the bay anyway.
The birds weren't hungry, but the boys found some really cool dead fish.

  18. Summer was so long and so hot and it never ever rained when I was a child, even here in the UK - well that's how I remember it anyway!
Spring does feel like it's finally arrived here, we are even barbecuing today although it could snow yet, snow at Easter has happened before - in fact my husband has attempted a cricket match in the snow before!
In the meantime enjoy your glorious view and keep cosy by that fire.
