Are You Kidding Me???? really....

This is what greeted us us yesterday at the cottage!!!

Are you kidding me?

Is this not MAY????

It was cloudy...windy as hell...and darn chilly...

Really Mother Nature???

Is this a cruel joke being played on us???

I guess it was so darn windy all week...

That these ice bergs got blown back into shore...

This is what the sky looked like all day....and this morning...

I stayed inside most of the time...and got busy...cleaning!

Remember we had the new roof on in November...and with open ceilings upstairs....all the dust all winter had settled...

Not anymore!

All clean!!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend...

I am still trying to warm up...and...I seem to have lost my voice!!

The boyfriend is pretty darn happy about that!! hahaha!

Be back tomorrow...with a few more COLOURFUL pics......

               Enjoy your evening...

                    Cheers!  :o)

  1. Mother Nature sure is making it difficult to stay positive these days, Linda. I think she may have mixed up her Ms; Mat feel more like March! All I keep telling myself is, it has come sometime time. But when???

Take care of that voice, and thanks for sharing...I think:)

  2. Yikes, what an unwelcome visitor that ice was. I sure wish it would warm up, I'm tired of wearing jeans and big sweaters and scarves and fingerless mitts and socks ... I want to wear capri pants and t-shirts and sandals!!! I have 2 lonely daffodils in bloom the rest and the tulips are too cold to open up!
Glad the cottage is all cleaned up.

  3. Very disappointing for you having that bad weather.
    Those icebergs look absolutely horrible!!
Let's hope it warms up for you soon but at least you were able to do sterling combat against the dust.
Plenty here to do if you absolutely love doing it LOL

  5. Hope that you get your voice back soon! At least you still have your bloggy voice! Those bergs are amazing, they really don't seem to have gotten the memo that it is spring and heading towards summer, and they need to melt and go away!!!!!!!! Hope that you are having fun - I guess that the water is back on so that is good I hope. Happy weekending! xx

  6. It's quite chilly here, too! I'm bundled in a sweater, socks, slippers and sipping hot tea all day!
Maybe this means summer will not be so sweltering? I hope so!

  13. Terrible, isn't it? The way we're going, it's going to be a really short good-weather season, and before you know it, we'll be back to winter. ARGH!

  14. Icebergs? I think we all have bad karma. We, too, have chilly, rainy, dark weather. It's the pits. There is nothing else to do but clean the house. Here's hoping next time you go there it will be much more like Spring. Hope you are feeling better and can talk 'his' ear off. :) Hugs

  17. Hi Kathy b...
    Still cold here today...and windy!!!

  18. Brrrr. that looks so cold out there on the lake. I guess you can be thankful the wind didn't blow the ice floes onto the shore and lawns and cottages!! That has happened on NB's shore before with huge ice floes. I'm still shivering....need heat!
