So Glad We Went On Thursday...

Hope you all had a great weekend...

Our weather was spectacular...

Gentle breezes...calm Lake...swimming...eating...drinking!!

Taking in all the Lake has to offer

And...I am so glad we went on Thursday...or...

We would have missed this beauty!!

For some reason my Daturas are kinda pitiful this year...so...when I spied this one...

I had to follow her progress for the evening...

If we had not gone until Friday...

She would have been gone...amazing!!

                                 **********************************************

We are having a sleepover tonight with Miss V...

She is napping right now...and then...we will hit the pool!!

My daughter Lissa and her husband Jeff are coming over...

I picked up 2 rotisserie chickens at Costco...delicious...and Gluten-free!!

I have fresh yellow beans...small fresh carrots and a few new potatoes to prepare...

Of course a Greek salad....my speciality!

Enjoy the rest of your day....

We are hot and humid again....fannnnntastic!!

                             Cheers!   :o)

  10. I love when God leaves me special gifts like that.
Last night I found my friends Ivy and Andrew at the ice cream shop (with their mommy and daddy) and then again today at Panera Bread. They're some of my favorite "flowers".

  16. I have two different Datura plants and neither have bloomed this year for some strange reason, so I enjoyed seeing yours. I do love the way their wonderful scent perfumes the air.

  20. Daturas are so beautiful. Here's to a good finish for summer. Looks like it will also go out like a lamb this year. We deserve a nice warm end to August and beginning of September. It's been way too wet this year.
Regarding cats, I have not taken care of a diabetic cat for awhile now. My daughter's cat, Hugo, is diabetic and doing well on one shot every morning. He is also on special food. Hope all goes well as I'm sure it will. Deb
