Come On In Out Of The Cold.....

Come on in from the cold...

Very cold here today....and blustery North winds....brrrrr!

How about a hot bowl of Turkey soup...with some toasted bread...salad...

Or...a slice of Buttermilk Blueberry Breakfast Cake...with fresh Berries...

Or...

A big bowl of Summer Fresh Pasta....

Perhaps a big mug of steamy Apple Cinnamon Tea and some fresh crispy Apple slices may do the trick...

Or a slice of Spicey Coffee Cake with BLueberries would do...

5 fruit pie with butterscotch ice cream may be what you are looking for...

Or...

A piping hot bowl of Potato Leek Soup....

Perhaps some homemade whole wheat bread...slathered in homemade strawberry jam is more to your liking...

Or...

Homemade Split Pea and Ham soup would hit the spot...

With some fresh Bruschetta alongside...

If none of these are what you fancy...

Perhaps some Tomato Chicken Vegetable soup would warm you up...

Or a big plate full of my Greek Salad....yummy!

And if all that doesn't warm you up...

And make you feel all cosy and warm inside...

Perhaps the simple Poached Egg would suffice...

If you are not warm yet...

Well...

I give up!!

Oh...

How about this shot of my boyfriend and I in Florida?

Ahhhh...now I got your attention!

Won't be long now...

Hope you are all having a great day...

Is it cold and blustery where you are??

We have Miss V for a sleepover tonight...and then a drive to the cottage tomorrow...

Having Homemade Pizza tonight...and greek salad...yummy!

I think red wine goes with that...don't you??

Enjoy the rest of your day, and have a great evening...

Feeling full???  hahaha!

Cheers!   :o)

  7. Hi Linda - boy, that all looks so good. I wouldn't mind the recipe for the pasta dish. I could eat pasta every few days. We have the same weather...SICK! I am so done with this snow and cold. It's too cold to do much at all including the long walks I need. Oh well...it's not forever. Hope you have a good weekend. Lots to look forward to for you and the boyfriend. :) Deb

  12. Would it be awfully piggy to say "Yes!" to everything? Yum. yum, yum. If I HAD to choose I would say the beautiful buttermilk blueberry breakfast cake with berries (that's a lot of "b"s!) and the delicious poached eggs. That tomato chicken vegetable soup is tempting me too. What a treat.

Okay. Is it just me? Or does your boyfriend look somewhat similar to Wanda's dearest? I keep noticing it. Too funny. Maybe he's really one person!
