Crochet Cat Nest....Is That You Audrey???

Finished the Cat Nest the other day...

Tried to take some photos...

It just kinda laid there...

All limp...

And flat looking...

A light bulb went off in my head!!

I could use my Mom's stuffed cat...that I have kept since she died...

And...Miss V loves playing with it♥️

First one in the nest...

is a baby Tiger...

Then...

Gosh...

That looks like Audrey....One of Deb's cats...over at "Just Cats"....**wink wink**

I used Bernat Baby Blanket yarn...

Almost like a chenille...

Very soft and cosy...

But...

If the truth be known...

I would just do a small round disc next time...

Kinda floppy...

Not sure if my daughters cats went inside...

Or just laid on it folded...

She sent me a picture of her Pixie laying on it...

Kinda blurry...

Will try and get a better one!!

         Meanwhile....after her bath...scrubbed up...shampooed...blowdry and styling...

Miss V loves to pamper her lips...

With some of Nana's EOS lip balm...see it there in her hand!

Loves to open it...apply liberally...give me a few swipes...and screw the top back on ♥️

Hope you are all having a great day...

Still cold here...sun out this afternoon...lazzzzeeee day here!

Gonna have homemade burgers and fries for dinner...can hardly wait!

Enjoy the rest of your day...

                                       Cheers!   :o)

  1. Now I want to learn to crochet so I can make a cat nest. Norbert would scorn it but our other cat, Sheldon would love it.

Vivian's eyelashes! She is going to break some hearts.

  2. I'm laughing here, Linda. That stuffed cat is so funny and wouldn't you know it, she does look like Audacious Audrey. She'd be the first one in there, head first. I love the cat nest. Maybe you can go into business and I'll be your first customer. ha! Just what you need, eh? Something more to do. haha! Looks like Vi is going to have fun with nana's makeup soon. This is just the start. We are having the same dinner tonight...veggie burger for me. That's comfort food all the way. Tomorrow will be warm so hope you get out and enjoy it. Hugs

  3. A cat nest? Now that's something new. I must look for that lipgloss. I hear it's great but the packaging is a little large for my purse. Vivian looks adorable with her big eyes. It's been a sunny but frigid day here but mild and rain for the next 2 days. Have a nice evening.

So you reckon she might be able to put up with my sense of humour . . . oh silly question, I guess if you can she can . . . . lol
Crocheting sounds as if it is therapeutic, especially after eating a huge burger . . . . crumbs you spelled humour with a u ~ so Canadian typewriters have a u then . . . . lol

  8. Cute nest! Reminds me of those felted ones I got. I bet if Lissa showed her cats they could go inside, that they would burrow down in there. We almost had burgers for dinner but I changed it to salmon at the last minute. Maybe Monday....with fries, too...yum.
