His & Her Brunch....On A Rainy Saturday....

His....scrambled eggs...ham...turkey bacon....fresh strawberries

Hers....poached eggs...ham....turkey bacon....fresh strawberries

Coffee and OJ....served on a toasted skinny bagel....

The hi lite of this rainy Saturday.....

The Hibiscus continues to please....

Even with the wee bug....

Covered in rain drops...

Not sea fog!

Hopefully we have seen the backside of that!

Friday evening....we sat out....and froze!

Good thing I brought sweats and plenty of sweaters!

It threatened to clear....but did not!

Today....

They braved the rain....

Even...

Played in the rain...

And....by gosh....at 6:15... Things looked up...

For tomorrow....

We hope!

We are promised high 70's....

For the entire week...

Dinner almost ready....

Crispy buttermilk soaked chicken drums....

Sweet potato fries....made fresh....

Perhaps a few swallows of Merlot...

Looking forward to the week ahead....

Hopefully I will have more uplifting posts for you all....♥️

Hope you are having a great day....

Enjoy your evening...

See you all tomorrow....in the sunshine....

                Cheers!   :o)

  6. Brunch looks yummy, except for the meat, ha, ha. Sad that you're sad, but who can blame you? Your dinner sounds wonderful, as always. We did a movie and out for some chicken at that great canadian icon, Swiss Chalet. Supposed to be a little snow here tomorrow evening, freezing rain on Tuesday, yuck. Keeping my fingers crossed for your area! :) Take care...

  8. I love your photos - even if it's not what you were hoping for there is still such beauty. Those purple sunsets at the end are extraordinary.
And a big YUM to the brunch - both versions. Looks so tasty... I think I am drooling a bit.
I haven't been able to get groceries lately so I have a big order coming from Grocery Gateway this morning. Can't wait!

  14. Well, it's still beautiful...even if it's chilly and rainy! There's just something about looking out at the ocean that I love. Still, I'm sure you're wanting that hot sunshine that sinks clear down into your bones...the kind that we all associate with a beach vacation. Surely this week! When do you leave for home? I wonder if you still have snow. We got a fresh 4 inches over night with it still coming down!

Your poached eggs are perfectly beautiful....I may have to make those for brunch today. Sounds delicious!

  23. Hi Linda, just happened upon your blog, we have also ventured upon hers and mine meals and that works for us, usually most is what we both want and then the few individual items extra. We spend our summers on the coast in Oregon and winters in AZ. The ocean has my heart. Love your pictures!!!
