Happy Spring!!

A day late...

But better late than never...

The Flower Lady (aka Erika)

Brought me this lovely planter...

Chock full of Spring Bulbs...

Miniature Daffodils...

Purpley Blue Hyacinths...

And a lovely Burgundy Primula...

The Bulbs are all at different blooming stages...

Should last a good long time...

Then...

I can plant them in my garden...

To enjoy next year!!

Love the black stones...

And the piece of curly willow...

                           Thanks Erika...♥️♥️♥️

I have moved it to my foyer table...

Darker there...

And cooler...

Keep the bulbs going longer!!

It will definitely be the anchor for my Easter decor....

As usual I took way too many pics...

Do you have any Spring bulbs indoors at your home???

When we returned from our drive to the cottage yesterday...more on that later...

I could smell the Hyacinths as soon as we walked in the front door...

Lovely....

Hope you are all having a great day...

Yesterday was a glorious sunny warm day here and at the cottage...

Got up to 9*C here!!!

Lots more melting going on...

Today is very blustery...raining overnite...small peeks of sun every now and then...

Gonna curl up on the couch with my latest crochet...quite challenging!!

Think Burgers will be the star tonight...

With either Greek Salad...or sweet potato fries...no decision on that yet!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend...

Happy Spring!!!

                           Cheers!  :o)

  2. What a lovely gift and gorgeous flowers. I love how you have given us so many views of the planter. I love curly willow...adds a nice touch.

We are taking a little couple that have latched on to us (I posted a picture a few weeks ago) to CoCo's for lunch. It's their 35 wedding anniversary. And they chose CoCo's for lunch...I have candles in my purse to put on their dessert. Shhh. Sending hugs.

  4. In your last blog, love the way you show the cottage now in the blustery weather, as well as the lovely summery weather. And what a handsome photo of you and the BF! Today's daffodils are very cheery. Tonight is shepherd's pie as well as eggplant sautéed in olive oil and balsamic. Trying to clean out the fridge before the little trip. Have a nice rest of the weekend...

  5. Happy Spring! Such a beautiful day yesterday - that sun was glorious. Met a friend for lunch at El Catrin and we had a great time. Then I soaked up some rays for a while.
What gorgeous colours in your planter - just love the colour of the hyacinth. Burgies sound good. I am having pizza at the moment... ha!

  6. Lucky lady. Erica knows what her momma likes. :) Love that shade of yellow especially right now when we are all so colour deprived. It snowed all day today just when we were seeing our driveway again. :( That's March for you. I cooked all afternoon, Linda . I made a veggie lasagna for company tomorrow and a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge icing. It was a good day to stay in. Better go fill the feeders now and get some fresh air. The photos of your home are beautiful. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Deb

  9. Today is the first full day of spring, so you aren't late with your wishes. Lovely spring bloomers. I can't have hyacinths inside as the smell is so strong I'm forever sneezing. I do have some new inside plants that I'm sharing tomorrow for Sunlit Sunday. Wet snow and rain this morning but the sun is out now but it's getting colder. Next week looks more promising.
