  1. I just popped in from working in the dirt and now I get to enjoy your photos. Isn't life grand. :)) Your flowers are so gorgeous. I can't wait to get some gorgeousness going on this lot. I planted some glads and morning-glories. My friend just emailed me to come and help her thin out her perrenials and bring some here. YES! We have been burning again today so things are looking better. I see you have peonies, Linda. They are so pretty. I have some of my grandmother's here along the fence. Isn't that wonderful. Have a great weekend at the cottage. We will be busy with work here and a birthday party for Riley who is turning 5. I am building a little fairy garden for her to put on her deck. It's so much fun. I just may make one for myself. haha! Sending a hug, Deb

That is THE BEST EVER! When friends share perennials?

Riley is 5 already! My how time flies, eh?

  2. I'm loving the crab apple trees! And what is it about ants and peonies? Even before they bloom! I'll never forget the first spring at our house here that I had peonies...I cut a huge bouquet of them for the dining room table and arranged then in a crystal vase. Pure perfection! Then all the big ants came crawling out! hahaha....

    1. Beautiful eh? On the next street....on our way from the park....smelt heavenly!
You fell under the Peony spell!
When I cut mine....I dip them into the pool, and all the ants end up swimming!
Once...in Jamaica...I put a a Hibiscus in my hair, and ended up with ants biting me! Hahaha!
      Enjoy your weekend!

  11. Loving your days and blooms, Linda. Pachysandra...is that a ground cover? I've been looking for something that blooms under a tree which might present problems because of the lack of sunlight. Okay, I took away from the spirit of your post. It was lovely. Enjoy your holiday weekend. I am looking forward to hearing all about it! :)
