Water Weekend!!

As you can see...it was a fabulous weekend, weather-wise!!

The lake was like glass...clear and blue...just the way we like it!!

My boyfriend cleaned up the pedal boat...and off we went...

See our cottage from the water??? Picture 12 and 14...

I love the way it looks from way out there...

The wind fluctuated a wee bit...from the North mostly...

This makes the lake calm...:o)

This last photo is at sunset...2 ships travelling to the Erie Canal...

Reflecting in the sunlight...

Hope you all had just as beautiful a weekend...

All the celebrations taking place...

There are a lot of American cottagers on the Canadian side of the Lake...

We get to enjoy their fireworks!!

Visited with Miss V today...first dip in the pool...it was warm and toasty!!

I cleaned the sides around the coping...looks beautiful now!!

An easy night on the old chef here...

Cold salads and some sliced turkey...yum!!

Enjoy your evening...

I have a lot of visiting to do!!

            Cheers!  :o)

  4. Gorgeous pictures, Linda! Your lake is beautiful. Funny, we call 'pedal boats' paddle boats here which is crazy because you don't use a paddle! One thing I want to try is paddle boarding but have you seen the prices of the boards?? $800.00 and up!! I hear it's a great workout though. Maybe we can find a place to rent them! next summer. Sounds like a lovely weekend and a new and peaceful start to this week. Enjoy your dinner---hoping I can get TH to take me out.

  8. Looks like y'all had a great weekend. We did too! Except, our lake was a little choppy. It never was glass-like. We had strong breezes and afternoon rain showers. We had plenty of time for water fun, though. By the way, you have a very pretty cottage. I love that view, too.

  13. Oh that looks like so much fun! I used to love the water and still like to gaze at it, but I can't be on the water because of severe motion sickness now. Darn it. I will just live vicariously through you and other bloggers who are water babes! lol! The water does look perfect, so clear. Your cottage looks terrific. Beautiful shots!

  15. The lake looks gorgeous Linda. So calm. I'm glad you had a chance to get out in the paddle boat and tour around. We had a heavy shower here about 20 minutes ago and now the sky is clearing. It's humid. I don't mind. :)
