Just Another Day At The Beach........♥️

Grab yourself a long tall drink...

This is gonna take awhile!

Lots of photos!!

On Friday...we took Miss V out to the cottage for a visit...

First things first...

Give the "monster" a hug and a kiss!

Then..get bundled up..."can I ride my bike?"

Absolutely sweet cheeks!!
Down to the beach we go...

We have to find just the right rocks to throw into the lake...

What an arm she has!! Can you see the stones?

Next...

Feed the Seagulls...Awesome!!

She stood like a little soldier...watching...quietly...♥️

Next...she found this awesome rock...

She thought it looked like a snake!!

And...it sure does!!

Pail and shovel next!!

She found some sandy spots to dig and fill her pail...
Very intense!!

We gave the squirrels and birds a few sunflower seeds...

"See you later Seagulls"...

When her Papa was putting her bike, back on the sunporch...

She had not been in there with the Winter shutters up before...

She decided this was a great place to hang out!!!

She even found her deck chair, and sat for a while!!

She also helped her Papa sweep, but the pics came out blurry...

Her little arms were sweeping so fast!!

I grabbed this photo from inside the kitchen!!

 Once inside...

Slippers on...

Up she went...

To play with the croquet balls...

She loves to do that...

Count them..and do the colours!

Papa was happy to play along ♥️

 Time to go...

One last picture out the window...sun trying to come out!!

And...lucky us...we drove by this farm...and saw these lovely horses...

We pulled over...and coaxed them closer...

How beautiful...what a wonderful day we all had...truly ...lovely!!

thanks for hanging in for such a long pictoral...

I could not help myself...

So difficult to pare them down...

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend...

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my previous post...

you guys are THE BEST!!

I did a bit of Christmas prep today...

Got my table set...silver polished...{YUCKY JOB}...

I still need to make some shortbread...

I guess that can wait til tomorrow...

This was a wet dreary dark miserable day...

Our temps are on the rise...should be 15*c by Christmas Eve!!!

Absolutely no snow for us here in Southern Ontario...

Hope it wont stop Santa from stopping by!!

I have a rotisserie chicken for dinner {wink wink Betsy}...

Add some fries...chalet sauce...ceasar salad...and dinner is done!!

Enjoy your evening...

You ready???

                           Cheers!  :o)

  19. Your Miss Vivian is so very brave
To near that monster with that kiss she gave.
She so deserves to ride her bike
and make you follow with a hike.
All wrapped up in winter gear
And to the beach so crisp and clear
She threw some stones into the lake
They flew for miles ~ a piece of cake.
Then she stopped to look at birds
    Seagulls diving in large herds.
They tried so hard to catch some fish
But got some bread # t'was quite delish'
She found a rock and it did shake
To make it look just like a snake.
Then she got her spade and pail
    And started digging without fail.
Then she got some sunflower seeds
And fed the squirrels with proceeds
Some birds joined them and had their fill
And screeched a thank you through a bill.
She found the porch with winter shutters
And went inside with pleasant mutters.
She went upstairs past photo walls
And with Papa played with crochet balls.
And then when journey homeward courses
You stopped to admire some super horses . . . .

    Lovely days and photos, Linda . . . :)
