Part 2......If You Plant Them...They Will Grow...

While waiting for the seeds to sprout...

We busied ourselves with some fabulous crafting!

HAHAHA!!! Just had to throw that pic in...so hilarious!

Guess which one I did?

                                             Day 6...

Check out those Sunflowers!!

The Pumpkins below...a wee bit slower...but strong!!

It was love at first sight!!!

After only 7 days...we had lots of sprouts!!

We got busy, transplanting the sunflowers...

Watering...

Looking good!!

We left the Pumpkins in their peat pots for a bit longer...

We picked up Miss V today, on our way home from the cottage...

So...today the 2 biggest Pumpkin seedlings...got potted up...

After that...we got busy in the backyard...

What a gorgeous day it was...Miss V was sweating, with all her gardening chores!

Papa took her to the park...what a perfect day!

Chicken and fries, with Swiss Chalet sauce...delicious!!

We will see her again on Wednesday...

Perhaps the other Pumpkins will be ready to leave their peat nests!!

Hope you all had a great weekend...and enjoyed the sunshine...

Cottage weather was absolutely PERFECT!!!

No wind...and sunshine all the way!!

Have a great week ahead...

                Cheers!  :o)

  3. How curious Miss V is and she eats up each and every new experience. So glad you have sprouts and good weather already. Your dinner sounds perfect...please tell me what a Chalet Sauce is about.

It was spectacular here today. Kevin brought Elsie over and she spent a tremendous amount of time in the backyard with Alan and I as he cleaned out the shed. Kevin disappeared into the house to watch the Cubs game and we had her to ourselves. So much fun. I could eat her up.

Now...shhhhhh! Daughter Emily is pregnant! Waiting for the right time to share-she's just 11 weeks along. She's my firstborn and I feel the same excitement I felt when I found out I was expecting her. Things are looking up, my sweet friend!

those little boots and tiny gloves and a watering can almost as big as she is!
    i love it ALL.
have you ever thought of turning this blog into books.
peggy at 'season after season' does it. as a legacy for her children and grandchildren.
what a wonderful keepsake it would be for miss V to see herself literally grow up from babyhood on...
in her very own books! just a thought!
or maybe then you already do it? it just sounded like a neat idea to me. ♥
