  2. Oh, to have a pool! And have temperatures warm enough to go in! (Downright chilly here in WA state) Wonderful to spend time with family and friends. That's what it's all about! An evening bbq sounds lovely. Enjoy! xo Karen

All of a sudden it's summer. Had a great day meeting with friends about an upcoming PR project, then shopping, lunch at my favourite Mexican place and wandering in the sun. Didn't want to come in!

  9. Ah, a BBQ out by the pool - Summer has really arrived over there, quite suddenly it seams. Love your little blue thermometer - looks so cute in the water. We actually had a cold morning today - down to 1 deg. Loved it!

      You ready for Winter??

    2. Always ready for Winter, Linda. It really only requires washing out all my shorts (done yesterday) and fold them away, and bring out the sweaters from the spare room. Done. Then we should buy a load of firewood in the hopes that we might light the fire once or twice over the next two months.

  11. Hi busy bee, nice that you had your fam at the cottage. Today must be little Miss V.'s day with you. Victoria Day in Quebec is now known as "National Patriots Day" as I found out last weekend in Montreal...hmm. I look forward to your pics from last weekend. And of course, I love the blue guy in the water. :)

    1. Yes...Miss V was here...she kept us hopping! ♥️
Why doesn't Quebec recognize Queen Victoria?

    2. It has never been called Victoria Day in Quebec. Up until 2003 it was called Fête de Dollard after Adam Dollard des Ormeaux a French hero who in 1660, with his men, fought to the death against the Iroquois thus saving Ville-Marie (Montreal) from invasion. After 2003 it was named National Patriots' Day.
