The Wedding...Part 2...The Reception

The view as you entered....

My SIL Jeff...daughter Lissa...boyfriend...Uncle John...(a family fav)

Their first dance was abruptly interrupted by Miss V!!!  She wanted to join in the fun!! They were only too happy to have her included...♥️

And what  a party it was!!!

My son did all of the decorating..his theme was Mid-Century Modern...

His home is also decorated in that era!

Everyone complimented him on his art work...being a web-designer, it is second nature to him...he even printed up the place setting cards for the guests...The table numbers were on old 45 records attached to a stand...I should have taken more pictures! But....I was having so much fun!!  The guests each received a small succulent in a clay pot...so cute...and yet so simple...

I can hardly believe it is all over...

I hope you enjoy the pictures...and that I captured everything...

It was truly an enchanting evening...

    Hope you are all well...

I can hardly believe that it is almost November!!!!

            Where did October go????

Quite nipply today...rain moving in overnight...and...perhaps...

A bit of the white stuff!!

                     Oh well...the Summer was awesome...

                        The Fall has been spectacular...

Christmas is just around the corner...

          Enjoy your evening....

               Roast beef in the oven...yummy!!

                   Cheers!  :o)

                       linda ♥️

  19. First I'd like to say how much I LOVE your banner photo! The overwhelming choices of pumpkins for little Miss V ;)

What a beautiful spot for the reception! I love how you can see right up to the sky, so it would look so nice at night. Isn't that just like kids to get caught up in the moment and want to dance with the bride & groom. I'll bet that brought a little tear to your eye? Beautiful shots of your family ... your daughters share the same beautiful smile as their mom.
And Hendries Gates!! I had my wedding photos taken there too!! That was a while ago when I lived in Burlington. Glad to see they're still standing. What a beautiful wedding Linda, just loved that you shared this.

  22. well... nothing new with me. i'm always late to the party.
but that way i didn't have to wait for part 2 at least!
it was so lovely cc girl. simple yet elegant. stylish and totally unique.
i loved it! ryan's turn of the century touch was everywhere. even in the church!
    so beautifully done.
my favorite part was the little princess in her gown and pearls in almost every picture.
i think she probably stole the show! LOL!
and anna had that lovely old world elegance that never fails to impress. calm and beautiful.
and she lights up when she smiles!
i love the picture of her and those two handsome guys. LOL!
and YOU!!! did it ever occur to you that someone else could have held the camera?
just for a MOMENT!!! TWO tiny pics of YOU and that's all! love your dress.
you skinny thing. and the one with all three of your girls and you... just darling.
what struck me most was that it all looked so happy. the colors. the understated simplicity
and playful elegance. big enough to be a celebration yet small enough to be cozy.
    treasured memories for sure.
may they live long and prosper! XOXOXO♥
