More Bits & Bobs......

Hi everyone...back with more bits & bobs...

These pics are from the last few weeks...

Hope you are all well...and...enjoying this glorious weather!!

We are off to the cottage in the morning...

Kids are all coming out on Saturday...the boys will help my boyfriend put up the sunporch winter shutters...

Usually once that is done...closing is not far behind...

We draw our water from the lake...so as long as the temps are high, we are good!

Lake Erie is still very warm...way above seasonal...so it keeps the cottage warm too!!

We haven't even done any raking down there yet!! Boyfriend just runs over the leaves with the lawnmower, and mulches them up...I sweep certain areas...like the beach deck above...but still pretty green when we were down there on Tuesday of this week...

My entire yard...back and front...here at home...is YELLOW!!!

I did get a few pics this afternoon...will share them soon...okay Laurie??? tee hee hee

It is just lovely to look out, and see all that YELLOW!!!

OK..that is it for me...gonna get back to my crochet...finished a scarf for boyfriend...very snappy!!

Have a great weekend my friends...

                 Cheers!  :o)

  5. Beautiful shots of your week! Love the B&W and see from above comment you do this on picmonkey. I use that site too, and will have to search out this effect. My son's camera will do this automatically. It's hard to know what to pack away for winter and what to leave out at the moment. I put away my patio chairs except for one because it's still warm enough to sit out in the backyard this week. Enjoy your time at the cottage with the whole gang!!

  6. Beautiful pictures, Linda. I might look into picmonkey. I was playing around with making collages. Your meals always looks so wonderful. Do you usually put effort into presentation? I spend a fair amount of time eating food out of plastic containers! -Jenn

  9. Love your pictures! We still have trees that are covered with leaves, but the sassafras trees are pretty much bare. Seems like they fall later in the season every year. I noticed this morning how golden the maple and weeping birch trees are. My very favorite time of year.

  10. Oh those Ontario barns get me every time - they are so attractive! love your flowers and the lake too. I would love a yellow yard - alas ours is now brown because it stopped raining a month ago and the Summer temps have arrived :( We could do with a few heavy storms. Have a great weekend at the cottage.

  11. Wow. It still looks like summer in these photos Linda. You sure are having a nice fall there. It's been so cloudy here every day and just plain dreary. Snow would almost be a nice change. Ha! Have a nice weekend at the cottage. We are actually going to have 4 days of sunshine (and cold) in a row....I think. xx Pam
