When The Wind Is Howling....💨....BAKE!!

note the flour on the cheek  ♥️  and on the counter!!! hahaha!

Even though we did not get any snow here...A lot of people did!!

What a change in the weather, eh??

Friday we were sitting at the cottage...enjoying the 20*c weather...

And when we woke up Saturday morning...we were like...whaaaat????

A very brisk wind set in...and then the rain started...off home we went!!

Sunday brought visitors...and a cute little baker...so...we got busy!!

Blueberry Buttermilk Breakfast Cake was the bake of the day...

And it was soooooo delicious!!

See you on Friday Miss V...sleepover!!!!!!!!!

Hope you are all well...and survived the first snowfall...if you got any!!

We had such a lovely time at the cottage last week...

Will share a few photos later...

The wind is still howling here...and very chilly...in the minus temps!!

Enjoy your day everyone...I am going out for Pizza tonight!! YIPPEE!!

                        Cheers!  :o)

  1. Lucky you not getting any snow, we got plenty, enough to cancel all the school buses. Your baking sounds delicious. It was cinnamon swirl loaf at our house.

  2. Cute photos, Linda. I like the little bits of photo-shop. V is such a cutie. We are having quite the snow-storm the last two days. And the wind is ridiculous. Just a reminder of what is in store for the next few months. No baking here today. I'm doing Christmas cards. :) Deb

The weather here is simply dreadful. There is so much rain in so short a times frame the drains cannot cope and water is cascading down roads. Quite eirie really. Will do a post on it but I have posted something which will make you belly laugh . . . lol
    Cheers

  7. You have a cute little baker there. She is so intense when she bakes. It has gotten really cold here too (1*C) and the winds are just whipping things around outside. So I also baked. I made peanut butter cookies and I am about to make an apple pie before my apples go bad. Hope you have a good week.

  9. We're cold and windy with just a slight amount of snow flurries.... just a swirl of flakes that didn't amount to anything. Still kind of fun to see. Seems a bit early to me, though! haha.
Breakfast cake looks yummy...and so fun to make with your little helper!

  15. I always love your little Miss V. baking photos, so sweet. Just baked chocolate chip cookies for my next visit with my big grandkids. They never outgrow home made baking! We shopped at Costco this afternoon and because of your recommendation, bought a yummy BBQ chicken. See how helpful you are? :) Fun to see you at fitness this morning, have a good week.
