What A Lovely Few Weeks It Has Been...

On Canada Day Weekend, we visited our son,DIL and Granddaughter Miss N...

She has changed so much...getting cuter and smarter by the day!!

The following weekend, they visited us at the cottage...

She was laughing and giggling, and thoroughly enjoyed the LAke air, as did her Mom& Dad...💓

That Sunday, we picked up Miss V, as she would be staying with us for 5 days...

The fun began immediately after getting home!!

She was in the pool for hours!! Wore her Papa and I out! hahaha!!!

I finally enticed her out of the pool, with a few Strawberries from my plant!

Look at those pruney fingers!!

While dinner was cooking, we got busy making a few cupcakes and 2 banana loaves...

We were leaving for the cottage on Tuesday morning...and she was excited!!

We arrived at the cottage, around 10;30...and she headed right for the beach...

Her Papa had promised her a pedal boat ride...but first they had to clean it up...

She was keen to help...and they got busy, while I unpacked and got things ready for lunch on the sunporch...

After it was all cleaned up...the waves had gotten too big for the pedal boat...

She was disappointed...but she and her Papa sat in it anyway...awwwww...♥️

After lunch...she got some of her "cottage" toys out, and we laid a blanket on the beach deck...she quite enjoyed that...such a good girl!!

She also manged to find a few treasures on the beach...and she packed them to take them home...

After dinner...the lake calmed down...and her dream came true!!!

JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!

And a cupcake to finish the day!!

It was still calm on Wednesday morning...she  and I went for a pedal boat ride...

She loved steering...and seeing the different cottages from the water...

Papa was ready for us when we came back!!

Then we took a short swim...

She said the Lake was too cold...not like our pool at home! hahahaha!

One of our neighbours stopped by with one of his Granddaughters, and the girls played on the beach for a while, and then went inside to Miss V's room, and played on the bed...They really enjoyed meeting each other.....

Arrived back home Wednesday afternoon...and of course had a swim!!

Thursday night we took her to Swiss Chalet for dinner...as her 6th Birthday is this Thursday...where have the years gone???

Her Mom picked her up Thursday evening...and off into the sunset they went!

We missed her so much after she left...such a great girl...helpful and happy...

Love her to pieces....

                          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     Hope you are well...and surviving this terrible heat...
          We finally got some rain last night...but not nearly enough...
               Enjoy your Summer days my friends...
                        See you soon...
                                Cheers!  :o)
