Hello Everyone!!! October Is Rolling Along....

Hello everyone...
Seems like ages since I posted...and I guess it is!!
I have been trying to post for 2 days, and had a lot of problems with my photo editor.
I do like to add my name to my pics...so I persevered...and finally success!
trouble is...I post so infrequently...I have a hard time picking the pictures!!
What a Summer and Fall it has been for clouds!! Just gorgeous...
Not to mention the wind! hahaha!!

Got an afghan crocheted for my Daughter Erika's bday in September ...
I have 2 others on the go...and one finished for Miss N's 1st bday in November...
Can you believe how time flies????

Our Thanksgiving went very nicely...everyone contributed to the meal...
According to their dietary requirements!
Miss N and Miss V got along famously ♥️ Miss V made her giggle and laugh a lot!

Cottage is coming to an end for another year...
Too darn chilly and wet and windy!
And....remember I was so thrilled to get a new fridge and stove last Spring???

Well...

My third stove will be delivered this Friday!!!
Two others were faulty!!! What an ordeal this has been...let me tell you...
The squeaky wheel gets the grease for sure...
Hopefully the third is the charm...

We also have to have a big old Maple tree removed soon...:o(
I have a picture of it near the end of the post...
Certainly a big space will be created by it s absence...but it has become a dangerous situation...so he needs to go...

Our drives to and from the cottage are delightful...
I love to capture a few pics every trip...
Love the barns!!

I made a Key Lime Pie again for Thanksgiving...
Boyfriends favorite...and soooooo delish!!

Hope you are all well...

The weather has been incredibly strange everywhere...

Michael sure did a number on the Gulf of Mexico...

That is the area we are heading to in February 😳

                      A new adventure awaits us!!

                            See you soon....

                                  Cheers!  :o)

                                       linda♥️

  2. Nice to read a post from you, Linda! That's some bad luck with your stove. One thing we learned when we bought all new appliances when we renovated our kitchen and that is to buy extended warrantee. We actually had to use it for our fridge and dishwasher and I shudder to think what we would have had to pay if we didn't have it. I hope this new one works for you now! -Jenn

And I think October needs to slow down! Number Nine will be two on the 27th. Just doesn't seem possible...
November will bring the arrival of Number 11 and that's pretty exciting.

  6. Wow, hard to believe sweet Miss N is coming up to her first birthday. Those girls are such a delight to see. I can see why you enjoy your drive to the cottage, as I would love it too. All those barns and fabulous skies. The lake is looking a little chilly now, and next week it is Halloween. Daughter tells me it will be very cold, very soon!

Sometimes the chickens are out near the road...I want to stop and get a photo...but boyfriend is on a mission!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Perhaps I can convince him to stop next time!

  15. Wonderful catch-up, Linda, love all the pretty scenes! Oh, one year old, my goodness time flies.....Sweet photo of the two little ones cuddling in the chair :) It must be so hard to say goodbye to the cottage for the winter, but it sounds like you have a nice vacation to look forward to. We are cool and damp here and the wind is blowing all the pretty leaves away. Your lovely crochet has inspired me to get out the hooks again. Sorry about your tree, but understandable. You will get some lovely firewood and slabs, though. Sending hugs xo Karen
