You may remember....
That last week...
We ventured to the Wednesday edition of the Farmers/ Flea Market...
It is called "Mustang" on Wednesdays...
And on the weekends...both days...
The big guns roll into town...
That one is called "Wagon Wheel"...
We did not make it to that one...
Apparently the traffic is horrendous...
And the crowds unbearable.....
And...
WE....
Don't do either! [tee hee hee]
There really wasn't much to see....mostly JUNK, I thought...
Very disappointed...as I had never been to a flea market, and was really
looking forward to it...
We have been watching a show on Monday nights...on PBS....
Called "Market Warriors"....
4 people [obviously seasoned shoppers]...
Visit Flea markets all over the USA...haggle their prices...
And then...
Their "Flea Market Finds" go to auction...and see who can "make" the most on their purchases...
Anyway....my point was...
I was seeing myself finding all kinds of wonderful treasures...
And I left....feeling....kinda "cheated"....nothing worth buying....
The only things I thought looked worth buying were waaaay too expensive...
I wish I could have brought that blue jar home with me....
BUt....$12???? REALLY???? I pay waaaay less than that at home...
These pink "Depression-glass-looking" goblets were nice...
But they wanted $5 each....Guess I should have haggled....:o)
These adorable shoes were
all I bought....Besides the veggies, I already mentioned...
Aren't they sweet....$1!!!!
Now....
That is a steal of a deal....
For my sweetie Vivian....:o)
Kind of a funny day today....foggy....damp....kinda misty...
We got a wee bit too much sun yesterday...so it's a good thing....
My boyfriend has gone to the grocery store for mushrooms and olives...
On the menu tonight......
Grilled Rib Eye Steaks...rubbed with cajun spices....
Mashed taters with sour cream and basil....
Zuchinni with parmesan cheese....
Sauteed mushrooms with peppers and muchrooms...
And the usual Greek salad....:o)
Had a lovely meal at Salt Rock last night....I had Grouper in a Shrimp sauce...
My boyfriend had A Huge Crab Cake....delish!!!!
