One of the flowering shrubs, that I really look forward to...is...
the Rose of Sharon...
A very common shrub...I do believe that almost everyone has one in their garden...
I have 2 very large ones...that are both Pink...but to my surprise...
A new shrub has finally flowered this week...
It grew from seeds from the other shrubs...but...it is different...
It has 3 different coloured flowers on the same bush ♥️
A deep burgundy...a white with a deep pink throat...and...the best of all...
A pure white flower...BEAUTIFUL!!!
All on one bush! Hey...am I a gardener, or what? hahaha!!!
I will try and get a photo with all 3 colours in bloom at once!

I have a few of the pink at the cottage...and one white one there too...
Did not notice any buds last weekend, but with this darn heat, perhaps there will be some blooms when I get back down there!!
They send up lots of volunteers, and I plan on taking more down to the cottage this fall...lots of room out there for more shrubs....especially these beautiful

Miss V and I spent 2 hours in the pool today!! We were pruney! hahaha!!
She really loves the water...and even put her face in today for Papa!!
Not sure if we are heading to the lake tomorrow or Friday am...
Another long weekend for us here...kids coming out on Saturday..YAY!!
I think I will go with the gluten free veggie lasagnas again...
They were a hit last time...and not really that difficult for me to make up the day before...
If I don't go to the lake tomorrow...I will try and get another post in...
