Along the beach today.....

Gorgeous day....hot and sunny....north breeze...

I see that you are getting more snow up there ....

Thought you might enjoy these warm photos....

My boyfriend blends right in with the blue sky....hahaha!

I have everything ready for dinner....

My infamous Greek Salad and grilled burgers...yum!

We are dining el fresco tonight...

Will probably  eat around 5:45....so we can enjoy the sunset! :o)

Seagulls At Sunset......

Last nights Sunset was beautiful...

Still on the chilly side....but....nothing like what is going on at home right now!

Thanks for all your birthday wishes yesterday....

We decided not to go out to eat....

We had Nachos and Salsa....

And...

Enjoyed the sunset♥️

Gonna walk over to The Solt Rock Grill restaurant....

Sit outside on the patio....

Have their delicious Grouper Chowder with Sour Dough bread and herb dip...

Delicious!

Oh....and a few beers, too! Hahaha!

Closing Day........

 Last Saturday...
We finally got to "Closing Day" at the cottage...
Before heading down to see what was happening on the beach...
I always put some Sunflower seeds out...
For whomever is interested!!

There was no snow at the cottage...
But a brisk wind was blowing from the east...
Very cloudy...but with a wee bit of blue sky showing through...

Found an old rusty fly swatter!
Imagine that!
And another lovely feather...with black..white..and tan...
Wonder who lost that?

There was some ice on the old well...
And the waves were crashing every so often...
But...
Actually almost calm...
I think the waves were still slowing down, from a very windy day...
The day before...
If you live near,or visit a Great Lake..you will understand...

The Seagulls put on a grand display...
So many pictures...hard to pick a few...

 Before going in to empty and unplug the fridge...
Gather up some blankets and such to wash...
I took a short walkabout...
Found these pinecones on a bench...
I guess Mr Squirrel was nibbling on the seeds...
That brief snow flurry left just enough snow...
To make the pic even more beautiful... 

I do believe Mr Chipmunk...or "Chippie"...
Lives in the bottom of this huge old Maple tree...
You can see where he has rounded out an entrance...
Looks like Mr Snail tried to join him for the Winter!

 One last shot through the window...
The Gulls have calmed down...
The tv room looks very tranquil...
All dressed in white...love this!

 So...there you have it!
Water all drained...
Plumbing fluid in all the drains...
Everything safe and sound and cosy for the long Winter...
Won't belong before SPRING arrives...in all her glory...
And the cottage will SPRING to life again...
Can hardly wait♥️

Saw this handsome guy on our way home...

Sunny and bright here...but still coolish...at -5*c...I thought it would be warmer...Apparently tomorrow!! 
And...
Tomorrow is also Miss V day...what ever will we do???

Got my Skinny Beef soup made this am...
Had a bowl for lunch...delish!
And...
Only 174 calories for 1 1/2 cups...and 2 grams of fat!!
Will be having another bowl for dinner...
Will give the boyfriend a Tuna and lettuce on Rye to go with his soup...

Leaving for the cottage very soon...
Perhaps a late afternoon swim!!
Off to visit our feathered friends!! hahaha!

Just Another Day At The Beach...........

            The weather at the cottage was outstanding....

                       And we had the best visitors....

                   They helped feed the Seagulls ....and....collect stones....awesome ♥️

Bird Watching At The Cottage......

After a very hard day of raking...cutting...raking...cutting...

We settled into our chairs...with a cold refreshment...around 5pm...

To enjoy the late day sunshine...

And started to watch the show...

I had my camera ready...and had to zoom in on most of these shots...

Everyone was pretty darn hungry...

Even got a shot of a small barn swallow...calling for his mate♥️

We spent the night....pretty chilly...more water problems...

Will tell you all about that later...

But for now...enjoy the birds!
