Greetings From The Beach.....

Hello everyone....

Arrived at the beach on Saturday afternoon....

A very long drive, but we made it!

I got a beautiful big new IPad for my bday, from my family, but for some reason, the blogger app

Did not get moved over, so I am posting from my old IPad 😳

The weather has been fabulous so far....sunny....hot and humid...

Please forgive the silly order of photos....and if they seem out of sync....best I can do for now!

It was cloudy this evening, so not a great sunset....

We have been walking....and enjoying the sunshine....dinner on the porch!

I know most of you are still enduring crazy weather.....sorry! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Found this Barbie right out near our beach chairs....crazy,eh?

So....that's it for now....hope you can follow what I am writing....😂😂😂😂

Must figure out how to get the blogger app on my beautiful new BIG iPad!

Cottage Bouquets & A Very Special Visitor.....

Another very interesting weekend at the cottage...
Friday was bitterly cold, with the wind off the Lake...
It finally turned to a North wind, and we were able to enjoy a bit of late day sunshine... 

My bouquets this weekend, were built with a few Mauve Lilacs in bloom...several Tulips, and some false Solomons Seal...

They came together nicely for yet another weekend arrangement!!

Even captured a Lady Bug...did you see her??

 We enjoyed a lovely fire after dinner...and boy oh boy, is that furnace getting a workout this Spring!!

SOOOO glad we put that in last Fall!

I made a small arrangement for the kitchen shelf...

A few Lily of the Valley...

Perfect for that spot!

 

Saturday started out rather frosty...as the day progressed, it warmed up to about 14*c...still rather chilly for this time of year...we got a lot of yard work accomplished...and even had a nice visit from my daughter Lissa and SIL Jeff! we huddled together in the sunshine to keep warm!! hahaha!
 

 Sunday was still breezy, but a lot warmer...

We stayed 'til 4:30, and the car said it was 21*c...much better!! As we approached Burlington it was 30*c!!!
Strange how the weather changes, when you go around one of The Great Lakes!!

All in all..a very nice weekend...

And we had the sweetest little visitor!!

A cute Tea Cup Bunny was munching in the drive way all weekend!! Hope he is still there next weekend!!

Easter Bunny 2015...

Well...

Here she is...in all her glory!

You have been very patient in waiting to see her...

I appreciate your patience... 

She was a lot of work...a few stitches and methods I had never done before...

Like the heels...guess I could make socks now!! hahaha!

The pattern was very hard to follow...one tiny picture of the finished project...

All of the limbs came out a wee bit different...my fault...one foot is bigger!!

The instructions for assembly were very vague...

And there were no dimensions for finished sizes of limbs etc...

Ok ok...enough b****ing from me...

She is completed... and ready to play with...

I added the sweater...the pattern had her naked!!

Now...if I could just get a pic with Miss V...

That may not happen for a while...I think the Bunny was perhaps..shall I say...

Too large???  Scary???  Or just a lot of commotion all at once...

Anyway...Bunny is here...waiting for her first hug from Miss V...♥️

 

 The pieces were worked separately...

Stuffed...and sewn together...

We had snow overnite Saturday, and on and off all day yesterday!!

No sleepover at the cottage...took a spin out on Saturday...still too much snow...

Hopeful that the temps this week will take care of all of that!!!

I am enjoying this delicious juicy pear, and a cup of soothing apple cinnamon tea, while I write this post...
 

I have Turkey soup bubbling away on the stove...

Turkey salad all made for tomorrows dinner...

Cajun Catfish, Wild Rice, Baby Bok Choy, and Brussells for dinner tonight...

I am crocheting a cat bed for my son's cat Buddy...

No more Bunnies for a while...hahaha!! 

Call the midwife was another excellent episode...
