Hydrangea Love ♥️

I said to myself..."I think this one will be just perfect to add to my BIG bouquet of Hydrangeas"....

 My Hydrangea bush at the cottage...I have 2 smaller ones...not nearly as large..

Last Wednesday...The Flower Lady brought me a whole BOX of Blue Hydrangea... A WHOLE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!

I left 1/2 at home...and took the other 1/2 to the cottage...

I added one of my BIG White Hydrangea in the middle of the bouquet...

The petals are a lot smaller than the Blue ones......

This bouquet was for the screened sunporch...

This is another favorite corner of mine...

 Can't forget my kitchen porch!

Along with a few beach treasures...beach glass found that day...and my first wee ripe tomato!!

                               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Hope you are all well and having a great week so far..
Are you still surviving through this heat???
We are headed for another heatwave in the high 30's...humidex into the 40's!!
Not sure when we will get any relief...the gardens are crying out for rain...
We had a very peculiar weekend...I will fill you in later...
Today is my Nana day...I am sure we will be in the pool!
Have a great day everyone...
Stay cool!!!
                     Cheers!  :o)
Cottage Bouquets & A Very Special Visitor.....
Another very interesting weekend at the cottage...
Friday was bitterly cold, with the wind off the Lake...
It finally turned to a North wind, and we were able to enjoy a bit of late day sunshine...
My bouquets this weekend, were built with a few Mauve Lilacs in bloom...several Tulips, and some false Solomons Seal...
They came together nicely for yet another weekend arrangement!!
Even captured a Lady Bug...did you see her??
 We enjoyed a lovely fire after dinner...and boy oh boy, is that furnace getting a workout this Spring!!
SOOOO glad we put that in last Fall!
I made a small arrangement for the kitchen shelf...
A few Lily of the Valley...
Perfect for that spot!
Saturday started out rather frosty...as the day progressed, it warmed up to about 14*c...still rather chilly for this time of year...we got a lot of yard work accomplished...and even had a nice visit from my daughter Lissa and SIL Jeff! we huddled together in the sunshine to keep warm!! hahaha!
 Sunday was still breezy, but a lot warmer...
We stayed 'til 4:30, and the car said it was 21*c...much better!! As we approached Burlington it was 30*c!!!
Strange how the weather changes, when you go around one of The Great Lakes!!
All in all..a very nice weekend...
And we had the sweetest little visitor!!
A cute Tea Cup Bunny was munching in the drive way all weekend!! Hope he is still there next weekend!!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
Happy Memorial Day to my American friends...
I have been a bad blogger...need to visit you all!!
Weekends at the cottage sure interfere with commenting!!
Forgive me??
Hahaha!
Enjoy your evening...And your fireworks!!
                                 Cheers!  :o)
Bits & Bobs From The Weekend......
Don't you just love this Hosta in the Blue Mountain Pottery bowl that my Son gave me...
I am really liking Orange in the garden this Summer...bought some Marigolds too!!
Love this hot Pink Geranium...almost looks like an Impatience...I also planted some Sunflowers in the planter....can't wait to see them grow tall!
Brussel Sprouts coming along nicely...as are my other veggies...will update on those soon!
My Ducks have settled in nicely♥️...still waiting for the deck to be done...arrrgh!
I am really liking the way this annual Fountain Grass is looking in this basket...should be spectacular by Fall...
Love the Pink Sky against the Blue Water...
Did you think I had forgotten to buy some Begonias???  These are luscious!
A few more of my baskets that I have put together.....just love these!
Got the kitchen porch floor painted...and made a small bouquet with Chives and Goutweed flowers...I prefer to call them "Snow on the Mountain"...much prettier!
My boyfriend sporting one of his Father's Day t-shirts....love playing with Pic-Monkey, and highlighting one of the colours! There is old me...with the beautiful blue skies behind me...and hamming it up inside the cottage...hahaha!
                    Hope you all had a great day...
I certainly had an interesting one...for sure...left 1/2 of my purchases at Target...had to drive ALL the way back to get them...thank goodness the cashier put them to the courtesy desk...One of the bags had 5 new bras in it!!! Sorry Eddie...but all of my peeps are girls...they would understand...when you find one that you like...fits...and feels good....you go for it!!!
                                                        tee hee hee!
                                                  ***************
The weather here is kooky...
Dark and cloudy....windy....humid as heck....not very enjoyable to be outside...
Supposed to clear out by Thursday....YAY!!!!....we have Miss V that day for a sleepover!!!
                 Will be BBQing some pork shish-kabobs with veggies...
                          Serve over left over Fried Rice...
