First Days Of Fall.....

The first day of Fall at the cottage, was like mid-July weather.

Absolutely gorgeous!!! 

The boyfriend and I swam every day!!

Just to get the grimy sweat off of us! hahaha!!

We truly hated to come home...

But we had a special visitor on Monday, and it was soooooooo
worth coming home for💛💙💜💚

Papa got the pool heated up...and we all had a great day!!

When we were in the pool with Miss V, we let her take her floaties off, and she was doing really well with her dog paddle. She will be swimming in the deep end next year for sure!!

After her last swim, we had a treat of Butterscotch Ice Cream...and I did her hair in a French Braid...

Her Mommy and her stayed for dinner, we it was her Mommy's b'day the day before...I made Summer Pasta, as requested by Erika...it was delish!! 

We iced up a banana fruit loaf...added some sprinkles and candles... such fun!!

The heat has finally broken here...it was a great run!!

More seasonable temps today...very refreshing indeed...

On a sad note...my boyfriends brother passed away on Tuesday evening...

He had been ill for a long time...but still shocking nonetheless... 

He had been a widower for 15 years...and feel ill not long after his wife Maggie passed away from lung cancer. He and his son Michael, live on the next street from us, so we will miss Paul very much. We will wait and see what our nephew Michael will do with the house...a rather large one, with a pool. 
The funeral is in the morning...very short and sweet...just the way he wanted it. My son will be one of the Pall Bearers...a sad day for all the family.
My Brother-in-law was only 68 years young...♥️

                             RIP Paul...you will always be remembered...

Latest From The Beach...and...Lots Of Food!

 Hi Everyone......

Me again....checking in!

Weather has been fantastic....lots of warm Sunshine...and plenty to eat!

I will have to go on a strict diet when I get home! Hahaha! 😳

We had hotdogs for lunch the other day...so delish....not something we usually eat!

I did Cajun catfish the other night...with grilled veggies and rice....really good!

Grilled pork tenderloin, with smashed potatoes...grilled peppers, and asparagus....yummy!

Of course....my fav BURGERS with Greek salad and avacadoes!

Ok....now you see why I need to go on a diet!

Been walking a lot....but I guess the food is catching up to me!

Oh well.....there will be lots of chores at home to keep me active.....right?

Started another blanket....loving the grey/blue tones...may need to pick up a few balls of yarn here....

I alway miscalculate how much I need.

Beachy Bits & Bobs....✨🐚✨

Just popping in again to say "Hi!"....

Things are great here....weather is fantastic!

Sunsets have been gorgeous....

A bit of rain, here and there....

Lots of beach walks....and some delicious meals...by moi! Hahaha!

Finished a sweater for Miss V....just need to add a few pompoms, and buttons.

Granny square afghan coming along...running out of the cream yarn....may have to pull out the big bag of yarn I brought with me....and....start something else!

I hear that the weather up North has been incredible!

Boyfriend said the Weather Network showed the cottage at 15c and sunny!

Perhaps we will be opening up the old girl sooner than expected!

I have been trying to get around and visit you all....

And...I want to welcome my new followers!

My boyfriend took this pic of me last night....

I was taking a few pictures of the wee plants poking thru the sand.

The wind was coming from the North, so a sweater was required down at the sand.

Some clouds blew in...also from the North....and, no Sunset for us!

Today is another day in Paradise...time for a beach walk!

Monday Drive...And...A Trial Run...✨

Evening all...

As I will be posting from my IPad soon....🌞....

I thought I should take a run at it!

I am also using a new photo editor on my IPad....

Still getting used to that as well...

Let's get started shall we?

  It was such a beautiful sunny drive all the way to the cottage....

  We always pass this lovely Horse farm, and today my boyfriend pulled over for me to get a few photos! There are small ponies there too....but....they are so small, you can hardly see them because of the fence! They are the same height! So cute...we must take Miss V this way next trip!

There was fresh snow...not very much...just enough to see the rabbit tracks everywhere!

Unfortunately...as we arrived...the sun decided to hide behind some clouds...:o(

I will share more photos this week....

Let me just say...there was no wind! It was a miracle! Very quiet and peaceful....

Still having trouble placing the photos...and the text...bear with me...ok?
