What I Did Today........

 After the grocery shopping...

And a trip to the mall...

With my boyfriend....

I decided to sit at the kitchen table...

 I decided to make a few Thank You cards for my kids....

They gave my boyfriend and I such thoughtful lovely gifts...

And I just wanted to thank them.....again♥

I decided to make a jug..

Of...

Cucumber water....

And...

Vow...

To drink a jug a day...

And I did...

Oh...excuse me...

I also got a bunch of Leeks...

To make potato and leek soup....

Will be on the stove tomorrow.....

It all started so innocently....

A nice cup of tea...

It is all my son's fault...

On Sunday...as...

He was expected...

But...due to...the...

Nasty weather...

Did not make it... 

So....now...his father...

And I...are forced to...

Eat this hideous concoction....and use the rest of the horrible Ice Cream from Christmas...

Damn you!!!!    tee hee hee.....I break myself up...sometimes...but...not very often...but this is definitely...

                              one time...hilarious.....I WANT MORE PIE!!!!...okay...settle down Dumbo!!!

So......this is what I did today...

              Meatloaf....roasted potatoes.....zucchini and parmesan cheese...

                    Started with a loaded Spinach salad....and a few glasses of cucumber water♥

I Was Pretty Darned Upset....Let Me Tell 'ya!!!!

When we got to the cottage on Friday...

After unpacking the car...opening up the windows...sweeping up the buggies...

I then head down to the beach...

To check out my cute little veggie patch...

To my horror...the 2 watermelons....and a cantaloupe were OFF THEIR VINES!!!!

What the heck???

On closer inspection...there were 2 bite marks on the watermelon!!!

Guess the stupid annoying Raccoon must have decided he wanted to sample a few things...but...he only tore into it...and left it in misery...in the hot sun...to dry out...GOSH DARN...I was so excited about those Watermelons!!!

I did spy another cantaloupe still attached..and another wee watermelon starting...

The pictures are rather poor, as I took them in bright sunlight...and when I tried to edit and add my initials in Picasa...of course...the editing won't work right now!!!    So...the pics are a bit drab....but I just had to share my grief with you all!
