A New Way To Present Gifts.....

 I came up with...

What I thought...

Was a great way to  "wrap" the gifts this year...

Everyone always needs more storage containers...

And I thought..that...these..

Were perfect!

They are quite attractive on their own...

And can be used for many things afterwards...

Miss V's is the one that says "MINE"....

"cause she says that a lot!  hahaha!

Cat toys for all...

And even some wheat free doggie treats for Lola...

And how easy is that to get your gifts home after the big day??

I sure hope my kids like them...I do!!

Some more decorating around the house...

Really starting to feel like Christmas...I am getting excited...A wee bit of sun today...YIPPEE!

Here was my lunch today...

tuna salad on lettuce...

few cherry tomatoes...

1/2 an apple...

Need to lose a few lbs before Florida...

Every wee bit counts, right??

My White Kalanchoe is looking...

Well...

SPECTACULAR!!

I really LOVE these plants!
Guess who sent me a Christmas card???

                       Isn't he a cheeky devil...♥️

Hope you are all having a great productive day...

Got my table set for Christmas...just a few finishing touches...

I guess the Shortbread is on the agenda for next week...

Miss V has been napping since 1pm...and it is now 3:23!!!

                             She must have been pooped!

Gonna go for a walk when she wakes up...not windy today, so not as cold...

Tonight  will be rack of lamb baked with a dijon mustard and cracked pepper crust...

                          Wild rice...asparagus...Greek Salad...

                                         Can hardly wait!!

Enjoy the rest of your day....and your weekend....any plans?? parties??dinners??

We are fortunate enough to at dining at a friends  home tomorrow evening...

Looking forwad to catching up with them...

                    Cheers!  :o)

I Could Hear Them Whispering Amongst Themselves..........

"When is she going to wrap the presents?"

Where has she hidden them this year????

I know that I am her favorite elf
so I know she would tell me if something was bothering her.....

Aren't I the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Do you think it is all that time she spends "blogging"....and chatting with her friends??

What is taking her so long????
Do you think something is wrong???? I did smell Shortbread the other day....and the tree has been up for a while....

I have been up here every year, for as long as I can remember...are my elfish charms wearing off????   where are the prezzies???
And we look good, right???? Lots of red and glitter, just like she likes it
What do you think, my dear??
Am I in trouble???? Do I look fat this year?

I think I know who might know...

She is usually lurking around and hears EVERYTHING!!!

IS it you Rudolph???

Or is it you Snowman???

When You Stop By.....Please Feed My Fish!!!!

You may have noticed, I have added a few cute little fish, to the top of my blog.
If you run your mouse over them... and "click"...little bits of "fish food"
come out, and they scramble to eat it! Kinda cute, eh??

Had my "girls" over for tea today, and made my first batch of shortbread. They brought banana bread and "portugese" custard tarts. A good time was had by all.

I made the centerpiece from flowers that my daughter had brought me yesterday. She is a floral designer, and is very talented. She said these were a new kind of mini-carnation...very fluffy...

Leslie brought me a threesome of creamy white hydrangeas.....keeping with my "white" theme...

Very lovely, indeed!

Thanks Leslie :o)

I kinda thought the red sparkly picks look like olives....what do you think??

Hope you had as nice a day as I did!!

                                                                 Cheers    :o)
