Can You Blame Us???

We got to spend 4 days here last week...

And...let me tell you...it was gorgeous!!!!

Although a bit on the Windy side...we always find a nice sunny spot to sit...

And just enjoy Nature...and...thank our lucky stars...

That we bought this little piece of paradise...🌟

Our driveway was absolutely saturated with the Bridal Wreath Spirea...

Stunning....

While I made Potato Salad...

This was my view...

BY the way...I had a cob of cooked corn left over...I added it to the salad...

Deeeelicious!!

I finally got my baskets potted up...

Used a mix of Perennials from the garden and annuals...

We will see how they do....

I did not buy as many annuals as I usually do...

I may have to visit the Nursery again...😉

These White Dianthus are in a basket from 3 years ago...

Aren't they just brilliant????

Lake Erie never disappoints...and it is extremely high from all the rain...

The sunporch is coming together nicely...

Just need a few more finishing touches...

Our very favorite spot....

Hope you are all well...

I am so pleased with myself that I actually got 2 posts out this week...

We are heading back down right after lunch...

Can you blame us????

Thanks for all your lovely comments....

               Most appreciated....

Have a lovely week and weekend...

The sun is supposed to be hanging around a lot more...

                                      Cheers!  :o)

                                             linda ♥️

  3. I would have to say this is what I'm sure a corner of heaven is going to look like. And that plate with all the goodies on it....a picture itself... Sorry I've been remiss in visiting. We had 4 graduations and a birthday over the past weeks. That's what happens when you have a dozen grandkids...HaHa.

    1. It was there when we bought the cottage Barbara...I have transplanted a few around the property...when they are all in bloom is it fantastic!!! I guess the only thing is..not to cut off the blooms for next year. My boyfriend always wants to trim them 3-4 times in the summer, and I have to slap him silly! hahahaha!!!

  8. Looks lovely there. I am always happy to see posts of that sweet cottage . Pretty baskets of flowers . We get a lot of winds off of the lake here to as it isn't very far from us I can imaging what it is like for you being right off of the lake . Lake Erie is a lovely lake for sure all across the north shores such beauty along it . Oh that potato salad looks YUMMY ! The mosquitoes are bad here this year as it has been such a damp spring I would like a screen porch like that for my back porch that is open especially in time like now where there are lots of annoying bugs at us when we sit out there . Thanks for sharing have a good day ! .
