Florida Feathers......

Hello everyone!!!  I'm back!! Well..actually back late Sunday afternoon...

Drove like maniacs again this year, but we were very lucky, to have good weather all the way up...

It certainly seems like a distant memory already!! So darn cold here!!!

Flurries on and off all day...limited Sun!!

But...my daffodils and tulips are poking thru, so that is great news!!

I have a few posts planned for the next week or so...

Sunsets...flowers...sand...You know...the usual Florida stuff!!

We had great weather this trip...only cooled down the last few days...

And it was the πŸ’¨πŸ’¨WINDπŸ’¨πŸ’¨ more than the temps!! Chilly North wind!!

All in all...a lovely vacation...πŸ’›

This Thursday Miss V is coming for a sleepover, it is March break here...

We did see her and her Mom yesterday...hugs and kisses all around ❤️

We will be crafting and baking....can't wait!!

We hope to see wee Miss N on Sunday...probably wont recognize her...but my Son did send me photos every couple of days while we were away...
She is a cutie!!

  Hope you are all well....

Hope to get around and visit everyone...

             Enjoy your week...stay warm...

                    Cheers!  :o)

                           linda ♥️

  1. Welcome back. Beautiful photos and loved the feathers. Glad you had great weather. Did you find any false teeth this year? lol
My other friend, Marguerite is going to Florida shortly, she always does each year just after you.
Busy bees here with various projects, too bust to post anything lately. Hey, love the header, puts mine to shame. . .
Weather alternating here from reasonable to blooming cold, courtesy of Russia with love.
    Speak soon . . . :)

Loving the images of the Floridian birds, we were very inpressed with the birdlife when we visited there too.
May brother has two more weeks to go staying on Anna Maria Island, I am sure that he is hoping that the cold will have gone from Missisauga by the time that he returns home.

  4. It is always nice to come home, even if there are flurries of snow! What lovely images of birds at the Florida beach, and what a treat it must be to watch them from the cottage. Happy Thursday with Miss V, who I'm sure has missed you as much as you miss her! Cheers.

  6. Living in Florida now, with a lake on the property, I get to see all kinds of birds , large and small and I love it !
Egrets visit and that is especially exciting :)
Right now- not so exciting - are the 2 alligators that decided they like the neighborhood so the egrets etc have to beware as do the humans and their pets.
At night I found there are little visitors to my back lanai .. raccoons with babies. Thank goodness they don't want to go to the lake.

Your LSK is right smack in the middle of the photos ! :(

  7. welcome home!
I hope CDF puts water out so the little raccoons don't have to go to the lake for a drink.
that's the way the gators get their prey. ugh!
bet Miss V can't wait to see you! no need to say how excited you are to see both of your beautiful little girls!
I can kinda figure it out. LOL.

  14. Oh, love all the sweet little birds, Linda - especially the ones with the funny hair-do's. Looks like me this morning.......The color of the sea is so pretty. I think that is my favorite color and so hard to find. I can imagine it must have been so hard to leave your tropical paradise and come back to snow, but those sweet little ones are the best reason to come home. Enjoy your homecoming with them - looking forward to more photos. xx Karen
