Blooms....& A beautiful Baptism...

                                      Here is Miss V with her Pumpkins and Sunflowers...

My son Ryan and DIL Anna, had their beautiful daughter Nora baptized on May 6th...

My daughter Lissa and SIL Jeff were the Godparents...

It was a lovely celebration...

Miss V thoroughly enjoyed the whole service...and couldn't take her eyes off of her new Cousin ♥️

And just look at that Ballerina Dress!!

She looked gorgeous...

And didn't cry at all....

We all went back to Ryan and Anna's for lunch...

Me and my girls...and with my newest Granddaughter ♥️

I promised to show you all what I had made for Miss N...

I cross-stitched her, her birthdate...

I hadn't done this for YEARS...but it all came back to me.

I was very pleased with the way it turned out...and with the frame that I picked.

                                         ~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope you are all well...and had a wonderful Mothers Day...
The weather here has been very warm of late...the garden is bursting its seams!!
We are heading down to the cottage in the morning...still lots to be done down there...it promises to be a few nice sunny days.
This weekend is our first long weekend of the Summery months, here in Canada...The Queen's Birthday!! We call it the 24th of May weekend...but this year it falls on the 21st...and the weather looks hideous!!
Usually the kids come down to the cottage for their first visit of the year...
But I doubt if that will happen this year...
80% chance of rain both Saturday & Sunday...:o(
Oh well...there will be lots of weekends...right???
Enjoy the rest of your week...
        See you soon...
               Cheers! :o)
                   linda ♥️
  14. Blessings to sweet little Nora! If its possible, she gets more beautiful with each day. And that dress, the teeny pearl bracelet...her mama has an eye for detail! Everyone looks wonderful. You and Lissa could be sisters. The cross stitch piece is so cute--I, too, used to do quite a bit. I made a huge sampler years ago and have no idea where it went. Lots of baby bibs, Christmas ornaments, little pillows. Maybe I should give it another stab.
    Love seeing your pics at the cottage on IG. We had a nice holiday here with half the kids, you know how that goes. Actually, my oldest son, Jeff, just bought a gorgeous house right on Lake Michigan, about 45 minutes from here on Diamond Lake, 1 hour from Chicago. He's going to use it for rental income. He can easily visit here and Deirdre's parents live a few blocks from their place on Lake Michigan. we are having a very good relationship, I wish I could say the same about two others. ;-)
    I'm here til Sunday, then I have to get back for Milo's check up, fingers crossed he's still in remission. The slow, quiet pace here is good for him (and moi!). Every day I tell myself to sit down and write a post, then more and more things happen, and it would be epic. We have rain forecasted for the next two days so who knows, maybe I'll get to it.
    Sending love. Enjoy your leisure days on the water with your man. :)
