✨✨ Saturday Tea Party.... Play Doh Workshop....Go Fish✨✨

My daughter and Miss V visited on Saturday...

After we played ball for a while...it was time for some Play Doh!!

It seemed to be a wee bit dry...guess I better get some new ones!!

I used to have a recipe for making it...perhaps I should dig that out, and make it with her, next time she comes!!

Such concentration in her wee face...💞

Go Fish was next...we play this more like a memory game...by the colours...

She sure loves these memory card games....we have several!!

It was such a dull day, my pictures are very blurry...

I apologize for this...but I just thought the pics were so cute!!

She loves to fill the wee creamer with water, and pour it gently into our cups!!

Sometimes she digs out my kids old View Master that we kept.

The slides are pretty old...the only one she recognizes is one with Mickey Mouse!

"Papa...can we go and see if there is any mail?"

"Absolutely"...and you can wear your new rain boots that Nana got you"

Her Thomas boots are waaaay too small for her...but I have tucked them away for the future!!!

You never know when you might need a small pair of rain boots!!

I will try and get a better picture of these...they are really cute...and who knew her Mom bought her a PINK spring coat!
She really liked them...wrote her name on the bottom....

Hope you are all well, and having a great relaxing weekend....

The weather here has been rather dreary...with showers on and off...

Hopefully the week ahead will be brighter...and warmer!!

We plan to turn the water on, at the cottage... mid-week, and have our first sleepover of 2017!!

                   Enjoy your week ahead....

                         Cheers!  :o)

  3. Nice weekend. Saturday attended Monica's graduation for Dental Assistant. Today, Don was a little under the weather so I left him napping and went to church.

Your little Miss V just gets older and cuter by the picture. When I was in Oregon, Tristan and I did a lot of play doh, and he loves rolling out real dough, we did that several times too.

Grandkids, young or old I love them all.

  7. Looking through the view master was something kept special for when we were sick in bed. It's nice to see she enjoyed something from the good ol' days ;) Sounds like you had a nice catch-up with Miss V. If you ever see a kids' card game called "Spot It", pick it up. It's a great little game for two or more players. Another matching game, but such fun! It comes in a small round tin. Enjoy your week Linda,

  11. Dear Miss V, she is a model child in every way. Tea parties never go out of style, and she has it all organised. I dug out my play dough recipe at Christmas and made it up for the visiting grandies - just like old times. It never loses its appeal. Sometimes I used to put cocoa in and make it all dark and brown just for fun.

  18. Love the photos, such a cutie pie! I also have a great play doh recipe and when I do my NY visits, I love when I see that my son makes my play doh recipe for my little grand D's. I noticed another comment about "Spot It." I agree, great little game. Doing a little live theatre this afternoon. You must be enroute to the cottage, take care and enjoy.
