Hello Spring......🌟
Hello everyone....
I thought...
What better way...
To Welcome Spring...
Than to feature Spring's favorite Bird!
I went thru my archives...
And found a few pics of The Robin,
To share with you...
🌷 On this...the First Day of Spring 2017...🌷
~~~~~~~~~~~~
My mind has been wandering to the gardens lately...
I am always filled with such great ideas...
For some spectacular flower baskets...
Table top displays...
Fresh garden bouquets here and at the cottage...
I can just see it all now...🙌
Won't it just be marvellous to get our hands dirty...
Sip a cocktail at days end...
Watching the Sun slip away...
Oh...okay...pinch me...I was dreaming💭...and...
It.was.wonderful!
Enjoy my Robins........
Hope you are all well...
Having a great weekend???? Anything exciting that I should know about?
Welcome Spring into your lives...enjoy your week ahead...
The morning has started out rather cloudy...
Perhaps the 🌞 will show her face....
Cheers! 🌾
ReplyDeleteHi Eddie....
DeleteYes...goodbye to Mr Winter!
I think the weather has been the worst since we got home!
Apparently no snow while we were away....and temps in the teens! Good grief! 😳
Ready to get busy, and get the yards in order....
Enjoy your week....
Nothing exciting here, just waiting for the warmer weather to get out and enjoy the garden. Though I did sit on the deck steps in the sun for awhile yesterday and did some reading. Cute robin photos.
ReplyDeleteIt is do nice when the sun shines....dull as dishwater today!
DeleteEnjoy your week...
Oh, from your ARCHIVES . . . I thought it was odd to have robins hanging around so soon!
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of Robins!! They were here all Winter!!
Delete"And the red, red robin
ReplyDeleteGoes bob, bob, bobbin' along..."
That popped into my head.
Beautiful banner!
Thanks Suzanne...
DeleteWOW! Those are FANTASTIC photos. I have yet to see our first robin this year. We don't usually see them until late April here---sometimes May if it is exceptionally cold.
Can't wait to get out to the cottage, and see what's happening down there!
Happy Spring, Linda! Love your new header, so lovely. Our back yard bird feeder has been busy with lots of little guests lately. And chubby squirrel who eats all the stuff that falls to the ground. Have a good week....
ReplyDeleteHi Hester....thanks so much!
DeleteMy birds are slowly returning to my feeders...lots of squirrels too!
Friday night, we had a few rather rotund raccoons visiting!
I do love "The Robin" So beautiful, and so many great shots. I know how you love your flowers, and know each name....haha. I do love Spring...just don't like the allergies. I'm adding a few new things to brighten up my living room. Will be sharing when I finish. New colors to add with the old. Have a great week, Linda. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to add new things! I have different pillows that I bring out...must look into that!
DeleteGlad you've recovered from your trip south!
ReplyDeleteHi Furry...
Did not enjoy that big snowstorm last week....😳
Oh, you had me fooled! When I first saw your pictures, I thought, "Wow, that's amazing! She has robins already!" Let's hope the actual robins will be seen pretty soon. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThere are Robins...they were here all Winter! Just love these older photos...hope you had a good trip!
DeleteI love your robin photos! You have captured so many of them!! Mine are always from the window while they are hunting worms on the lawn and as soon as I move they are gone. lol I also love your new header. Happy Spring to you Linda. I'm thinking about my gardens too. Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteMost of these are thru the window, Pam! Hahaha!
Longing to do some gardening....
ReplyDeleteI have not been out picture taking much lately. But then again, we are still thawing out from that stray snowstorm.
Yes...ours is still deep in spots...and where the sun doesn't get it...Geesh....off to the cottage in the am!
DeleteI loved seeing your Robin Red Beast Birdies . . .
ReplyDeleteI haven't see any here but I hear them singing . . .
Especially this morning . . .
I heard them and made a shout out . . .
"where are you mister Robin" . . .
I am sure I will be seeing them soon.
So in the mood for sunny days and buds and blooms.
Thank you for your glorious head photo . . .
yes Lynne...I can also hear them singing!!
DeleteColder today...brrr!
Nothing terribly exciting except the robins are back which means the snow will likely be gone for good.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so!!
DeleteWe had a good and proper spring thunderstorm all day yesterday with thunder and lightning! haha. ...first one of the year and right on schedule for the beginning of spring.
ReplyDeleteLove the robin pictures! Can't wait to see those speckled young ones now!
We did not have any rain...but cold this am...sunny...lots of rain expected over the weekend!
Doing the spring thing biz
Just so you know
At the Linda Show
HI Blue...
And...
For taking the time...
To visit mine!
How are you??
Still looking for my blue suede shoe. :) Spring is great!
DeleteI hope you find it! 😂😂😂
DeleteSpring has gone into hiding over here....cold!
Wonderful shots of the Robins! I just love their constant chatter. When I hear them gossiping in the trees, I know that spring is here!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree Karen...I love to hear them last thing at night!!
DeleteBeautiful little robins!! Spring has sprung here! Ha! Temps to 87 degrees F. Had to turn on the air conditioners Monday night... nope. Waiting for them to get to us on their schedule for a new one. Glad it is now instead of the middle of summer, I guess. ;) We've had the windows open all week and the bird symphonies in the early morning hours are just delightful! Full of joy welcoming the day. Love it. Have a wonderful weekend. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteWe are back to cold up here! Sunny...few plants poking thru the ground...not A/C time here yet! ISn't that annoying when you go to turn it on...and...NOTHING!!
DeleteCannot wait to open the windows, and let some fresh air in!!
Have a great weekend!!
I need no further confirmation that your were a professional photographer before you started blogging. National Geographic? Field And Stream? ;-D Gorgeous shots, Linda. I'm looking forward to spring, too, just to see some colorful birds. The flowers help but I can only use feeders away from the house...those cute little mice love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I've missed so many posts...I scrolled back and enjoyed each one. I love that I caught up with your trip on IG.
I'm not finding an email. I'll check again and let you know...maybe you can resend it.
If you got the cottage this weekend, have a ball. Trying to decide if I can relax better here or there.
Hugs,
Jane x
