Bits & Bobs..........

Lots of blooms to admire at the cottage last weekend...We did a lot of watering...Just to keep what was green...still green...if you know what I mean!!
The Summer Anemone are opening...should be more this weekend...My begonias continue to delight...such beautiful hearty plants...wish I could have a whole garden full of them!! I have a few Zuchinnis ripening...and a few tomatoes...perhaps we can eat them this weekend...we have another long weekend up here...but, rain is predicted, so perhaps my kids will come out on Saturday...to enjoy being lakeside!! My path to the beach deck is getting slimmer!! I trimmed some of the Miscanthus, to make it easier to get thru!! The Yellow Hollyhocks are a big favorite this year...I thought they were white...but...they seem to be yellow! Fine with me!!I think I see a spider on one of them! Pesky little things...The Moon was right over the Lake...and could be seen by about 5pm...Love when there is a full moon...I hope it hangs around for the weekend!! I took a few shots last night, it was magnificent! Will share those shortly...

The flower lady...aka Erika...brought me a 1/2 dozen small Sunflowers, so I took them to the lake for the sunporch...you can see below, they are glorious!!
The sunset over the lake...with the Moon...and a few Purple Martins flying around...they should be gone soon...they are teaching their young to fly and how to eat and drink...both of which they do while flying!!

This was how it looked as we left the cottage on Monday morning...lots of lake fog...the water is still relatively cool...and when it hits the hot air...this is what happens...kinda cool, eh??

Hope you are all having a great day!

Hot as heck here...into the low 40's...sticky and humid...

I am just about to leave to go and get Miss V...

She will have a sleepover with Nana & Papa...have not seen her since she was so sick last week...♥️

I have some pasta sauce bubbling on the stove...her favorite!!

Got her a new pair of jammies yesterday...Minnie Mouse!

And a new bathing suit...Sophia!

She will be thrilled...gonna try and get her into the pool...:o)

Enjoy the rest of your day...

                          Cheers!
                                linda :o)

    1. She will only sit on the steps, and dangle her toes! She is used to the splash pad where her Mom takes her...perhaps looks too deep...
      And she keeps telling us..."I can't swim Nana!"...we laugh so hard...so cute♥️
