Saturday with Miss V...♥️





Miss V and her Mom came for a cottage visit on Saturday...
 

 She always loves to find the biggest stones to toss into the lake...

 She handed this one to me to toss...

 Looks like someone had been playing x's and o's on it!!

 How cool is that!!

SO....I saved it!



After she had gone home...

We had a few reminders of her...

Which made us miss her all over again....♥️
 
 Hope you all had a great day...

 Some rain this morning...but not as much as forecast...

 Cleaned out 2 closets today...3 big bags to donate...feels good!!

 Gonna have breakfast for dinner...suits me just fine!!

    Miss V is a cutie pie! I don't blame you for saving the rock....it will be a sweet momento for her one day. I'm lovin' your cottage garden and yard. I want a clothes line at my lake house.

    Lovely photos . I like the rock ! I wonder what it's story is ? It rained hard early this morning with thunderstorms here but then by the late afternoon it started to clear then rained again and so on and so on lol ! I like having breakfast for supper to , my mum always said that's one way to confuse a rooster , lol don't ask she was a strange bird lol ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day ,

    Love smocked dresses! She is growing fast - such a pretty girl.
    Breakfast for dinner - yum. Very noisy here in the Distillery with Panamania. Might go down and listen for a bit. If you can't beat 'em...

      My Great Aunt used to smock me...when I was little...all kinds of dresses...every colour of the rainbow!
      She made them for my girls, and even made my son a gorgeous navy blue romper with white smocking!
      Unfortunately when she left us...so did all of the lovely smocked dresses :o(
      I kept one...Miss V has yet to wear it...must get it out!!

    such an adorable little blue sun dress.
    my grandmother used to do smocking on some of my dresses she'd made when i was small. i loved them! and i still love smocking!
    such a wonderful relaxing weekend.

    How can I add something new and different? I also love the smocking dress, the photo of Miss V. with her grandpa and the one with her Mom. Oops, is that who it is? it's also that these photos have an aura of love. Gosh, I'm getting very sentimental. So, keep on taking your lovely photos, LSK. :)

    Little Miss V is just a doll in her pretty smocked dress!
    The rock is a nice find...if only it could tell it's story!
    Cleaning closets...something I need to do. I have too much stuff and need to whittle it down. If only I wasn't such a procrastinator!
