Hi everyone...
Hope you are all well and enjoying Summer...
Last weekend at the cottage, was the worst stormy weather I have ever seen there!!
The wind cranked up out of nowhere...and the heavens opened with buckets of rain! For 2 days!!! Non-stop thunder...lightning...100km winds...and RAIN!!
Saturday was very windy and rough, but managed to stay dry...
Our beautiful sandy beach was clobbered once again...
Nothing like the fury of a Great Lake...
And of course...a few pretty flowers for you...
Enjoy your week...
Cheers! :o)
linda ♥️

Hi Linda, weather at cottage looks very grim but you got some great shots of the storm.
ReplyDeleteI have been paying the penalty from all that manual work. My back/left hip is very painful and I have started treatment at an Osteopath . . . with a little reliefso far, but no quick fix ubfortunately. I will have to moderate my building work from now on. Oh to be 20 years younger . . . :)
Hi Eddie...
DeleteIt was very exciting...even if a bit scary!
Ouch! You need to pace yourself...20? How about 30! 😂😂😂
Enjoy your week....from your armchair!
Yes, I'll settle for 30 . . . :)
DeleteBut Eddie is starting to rise from the ashes . . . lol
Good to hear!
DeletePop over for a cuppa but mind where you put your feet . . . lol
DeleteThose are great pictures. We get bad storms here all the time that come in across the lake. They really shake the house sometimes. Hope you have a wonderful weekend- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLife on the Great Lakes! Never dull, eh Diana?
DeleteHave a great week...
Hi Mrs. K! We were staying just a bit down the lake from you last week. Lightning struck the tallest tree there and a third of it shattered all over the road. It's still standing though and has an impressive stripe down the side now. Amazing power of these storms. I hope you are enjoying the summer!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie....
DeleteWish you had stopped by with your sweet boys!
School will be here before you know it!
Hope to see you soon....with some day lily bulbs!
Oh dear friend, how I have missed your blog! What amazing photos! Looked like quite a storm! I sure wish we had some of that rain here!
ReplyDeleteI have been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest, and just can hardly find the time to blog lately. I still hope to do more. Maybe on the kitchen facelift.
I have missed you, and your gorgeous blog posts! Hope all is well.
xo Kris
