💕 There's A New Girl In Town 💕
There's a new girl in town...
And her name is Nora...
And she is as beautiful as can be...💕
Nearly 5 weeks early...delivered by Cesarian section...
November 21 2017...11:13am...
5lbs 4ozs of loveliness...
Mom doing great...she has been discharged...
Nora has to stay for a while, as she was so early...
Dad...my only son Ryan...is over the moon with happiness...
He and Anna are going to be wonderful parents...
Anna goes to the hospital everyday...cuddles and holds Nora...
Hopefully she will be at home with them very soon...
I will keep you updated on her progress....
She is not having any difficulties...wee bit of jaundice...
They just want to monitor her for a bit longer...💕
She is out of the incubator, which was wonderful news on her improvements...
This last one is her sleeping in her Daddy's arms...
I must admit this brought a tear to this old Nana's eye!!
(all photos of sweet Nora courtesy of my son and DIL)

DeleteCongratulations and sweet Nora is beautiful! Many blessings.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara!!
DeleteI've been thinking of you and your family since hearing the news. So happy that little Nora is doing well. She's a wee little doll, but strong, I'm sure. I know Miss V is wanting to play tea party with her right now!
ReplyDeleteHearing aids? Well, I've had them for thirty years-join the club. Makes eavesdropping so much easier! :)
Jane x
Oh she sure does!!! Unfortunately she was not allowed into the Neo-Natal area :o(
DeleteThe hearing aids are still a new thing for me...so advanced now!! I even have an app on my IPhone to control volume etc...taking it day by day!!
Do you wear yours all the time????
Cheers to Nora, mom and dad . . .

What a gorgeous little baby, dear little Nora. You must be absolutely full of joy! Miss V looks so grown up, and just as cute as ever. Will be very interested to know how you like the hearing aids. Need them too, but resisting because 'all too hard' basket. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteHI Patricia...
DeleteSo far so good...wearing them for short periods of time, to get used to them. Some things are way too loud!!! hahaha!
What is your "all too hard basket"?...must be an Aussie saying!!

DeleteOh my dear Linda.....you did get the best gift ever!!!! Nora is absolutely beautiful. I love her name too, as we have a dear friend Nora in Texas. I'm trying to do more on the computer, but since my daughter put me on her family plan with a new phone that does so much, my time on my blog as suffered. But not for long. Going to do some scrolling to see all the goodies I missed on your blog.

DeleteWelcome, sweet little girl!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful, Linda! Congratulations all around. She will grow like a weed. My older daughter was born four weeks early and it took no time at all for her to catch up.
HI Martha!! Great advise...thanks for dropping by!!
DeleteYour new granddaughter is adorable Linda. She looks so peaceful and content I'm sure she'll be home with her family very soon. I have had a request from my cousin in England to crochet 5" granny squares. Apparently the hospital has a program where they put a crochet/knitted square with the baby who has to stay in the hospital & they give the matching square to the parent & these squares help keep the parent and baby close. A neat idea eh? & a good way to use up some leftover wool.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet idea...good luck with that project!
DeleteAdorable Nora, brings back memories as our third daughter was 5.5 weeks early and had to stay in hospital, same circumstances.
ReplyDeleteWe are hoping they let her out this week! Can't imagine leaving my baby at the hospital!
DeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new grandbaby. Each one is so special.
I ate too much this Thanksgiving, but maybe not as much as I did last year.
Now if only I can get through the rest of they year without totally gaining back every ounce I lost.
:0)
Thanks Martha! Yes, Christmas is a hard time to not indulge! I understand completely!
DeleteSo happy for you all! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy! So exciting,eh! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteCongratulations to you all - Nora looks gorgeous - both of my sons were early, but it is lovely having them when they are so small and watching them grow bigger and bigger. Miss V will love having a little baby girl to play with.
