What Fall Looks Like In My Gardens Here At Home....🍁🐝🍁🌸
Hi everyone!!!
A quick post, just to stay in touch with you all...
Where does the time go these days???
I have been back at Fitness 2 mornings a week...very happy to be doing that!
I have also starting baking again...and that is a GREAT reason to be at Fitness!
Apple Pie Bread ready to be enjoyed this afternoon, with a cup of tea...
I have a hearing test at noon...been having a few problems for a few years...
Time to remedy that!!
We will be driving out to the cottage on Friday...just to check things out, as I am attending a BABY shower for my DIL on Saturday!!!
I have crocheted quite a few things, and have them in a pretty container, all ready to go!! I will show you that later on...
Miss V will also be there...and then she will be visiting and having dinner with her Papa and I, while her Mom catches up with a girlfriend for a meal.
**************
Hope you are all well...and enjoying your Fall and of course your Halloween!!
Our weather has been pretty damp and dreary all week...the weekend not looking much brighter. Hopefully a few sunny days to put the finishing touches on the gardens.
Just had to include this pic of Miss Unicorn!!!
I did a bit of Magic on it...thanks to Ribbett photo editing...
She went out to her Uncle Ryans house...to see his display...Which was INCREDIBLE!!! I think I showed you some of his work last year....did her trick or treating out there...
Isn't she a doll??? 💕
Have a great weekend everyone!!!
Cheers! :o)

Oh- She is a doll indeed. Love that costume. I love watching the kids all dressed up on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens still look great! We have nothing left here outside at all-everything has frozen and died. Oddly enough this year we still have a few leaves left on our trees---very unusual. xo Diana
HI Diana...
DeleteLots of leaves still on the trees here too. And we are warm today! Crazy climate change!
Spectacular photos! Especially of Little Miss Unicorn!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debra...she looks spooktacular!

DeleteHmmmm...so much in November has to be from your green thumb!
ReplyDeleteMiss V is going to have a cousin. That is very special. Oh, that costume!!!
Have a ball at the shower, and please show us your creations when you can.
Terribly cold and rainy weather here, hasn't stopped for days. Wanting to get back to the gym, but the good old virus has me moping and sleeping. Got out to Target at the urging of Emily today,y and it made for an upbeat afternoon.
Sending love,
Jane x
I think more from the warm weather...but, ok!! My green thumb...hahaha!
DeleteNicer day today...but still chilly. HAd a nice drive to the cottage...
Enjoy your weekend my friend!!
Beautiful scenes from your garden, Linda - that vine is just amazing! So wonderful to be attending the baby shower - such a special time. Hope you remember to share your creations with us. Miss V is the cutest little unicorn, ever! We are enveloped in a cold fog today and expecting our first snow. I'll be getting out the crochet hooks myself, I think. Sending hugs xx Karen
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen...looking froward to the shower...SNOW??? Say it isn't so!!
DeleteEnjoy your weekend...
Aww . . . not so little as she was Miss V. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Autumnal look photos and glad you have started the fitness classes . . . now you can eat all the cake you want . . . lol
Hi Eddie...
DeleteShe is only 5! Just tall....
Fitness is a very good thing...keeps me young! Hahaha!
I love that she was a unicorn! how unique!
ReplyDeleteshe is her little adorable self. xo
She is adorable...isn't she Tammy?💕
DeleteIt is certainly cooling down. Clocks change tonight and lots of rain tomorrow. Baking and soup weather for sure. Nice to see some blooms still in your garden. Have fun at the baby shower.
ReplyDeleteHad a ball at the shower! Anna's Mom and sister did an excellent job!
DeleteLovely fall photos, glad to see that you finally changed out of your flip flops. :) Sweet unicorn costume! We're such trick or treat avoiders and did our usual escape to a movie, amazing how many others were doing the same! Enjoy the shower today and little Miss V.'s visit. We have a couple of "events" to attend this weekend. Take care...
ReplyDeleteHi Hester....
DeleteMiss V didn't come after all :o(.... Change of plans...
Shower was awesome! Enjoy your events!
Delightful Unicorn . . .
ReplyDeleteAlong with the pretty colors of autumn.
Looking forward to seeing your crochet creations . . .
Hi Lynne...
DeleteWill post my baby gifts this week....the shower was lovely!
Your blooms are still going strong! All the rain here has kept things looking pretty good here, too.
ReplyDeleteMiss V sure looks cute in that costume! There were a lot of unicorns down here for trick or treat, too!
Best wishes on your hearing testing. Hearing loss runs on my dad's side of the family and I think I already have a bit of it....I'm the one that always needs the tv turned up. haha. And I have a hard time hearing if there is a lot of background noise, like at restaurants.
Rain today, but not as heavy as we were told.
DeleteStill quite mild....no frost yet!
Seems I need hearing aids....😕
I know what you mean about the tv and background noise.....
I've worn hearing aids in both ears for years . . . digital ones and it makes such a difference. If I don't want to hear something I switch them off and sometimes I pretended the batteries had gone flat when Maria asked me to do something sometimes . . . haha
DeleteI am looking forward to better hearing...☺️
DeletePardon!!! . . . lol
DeleteSeriously, it will make a big difference but they are not as good as the real thing especially in a crowded roon where it is noisy . . . :)
. . . haha . . . and a thought comes to mind that I thought a lady's tongue usually wore out sooner than her ears . . . . duck, Eddie . . . ouch . . . lol
DeleteAdorable little Miss Unicorn, I'll bet she had fun. You have lots of pretty flowers despite the chill of Autumn. I have that blue giant violet flower blooming for me right now. Twins!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty collage of flowers.
ReplyDeleteAnd that unicorn... the cutest ever!
