Stormy Saturday & Sunset.........

Yesterdays walk started out innocently enough....

Bright sunshine....

High winds and lots of waves....

The Seagulls were taking in some sun....alongside the "beach clouds"....

Suddenly...the sky started to darken...big black clouds moving in....

We turned around to head back....

The wind REALLY picked up, and it started to sprinkle...

After we got back....the clouds really darkened up....pretty scary,eh???

We were tucked safely inside...

The wind on our deck was FAR too strong to sit out...

Everything was blowing around...

The sun tried to surface....

BUt the clouds were just TOO thick...

I ventured onto the deck....windblown...to take a few Sunset shots....

A few brave souls were on the beach...

The sunset was awesome...

Even with all the clouds...

Love the reflection off the sand...

Hope you are all having a great day....

Chillier today....still windy....but PLENTY of sun....58 degrees...

Supposed to warm up this week....back to the 80's....

On the menu tonight.....

Beef pot roast with assorted veggies....

       A great meal....for a chilly day!!!!

          Cheers!   :o)

  3. Lots of beach time for you! You got some beautiful and dramatic shots. Sure looks colder than 58! And sounds like you got what you need at the yarn shop. Carry on!

when i was little i always thought that was heaven ... you know the ones where the sunbeams are shining down in great shafts from the clouds.

    1. I always thought that too, Tammy...
The day of my brother Tom's funeral, was gray and rainy...
At the wake afterwards...all of a sudden...the sun broke thru the clouds...with the shafts of light...it was awesome...and we knew that Tom had reached heaven...thanks for reminding me!!!:o)
