The Native Mullien is practically a small forest on the beach..

I will be picking more Sweet Peas this weekend...

Isn't this a cool green bug???

                    Ever feel like this?? Hahaha!!

We are off to the cottage...

  3. Sooo nice. my bird feeders are busy as usual, I thought they would ease up once the snow was gone but those little ones are there all day and at dinnertime :) I don't mind, it keeps the cats occupied .(watching from inside...while they are wishing they were outside)

  4. Gorgeous flowers! I've always been fond of sweet peas. An old-fashioned flower these days, but a lovely one. I guess they call them "heritage flowers" now, don't they?

  5. It suddenly occurred to me that I need your advice. My hydrangeas have got leaves that are all burned, what, 20-25%, and I don't know why. I've got two kinds, and the ones with the smaller leaves are burned. It's such a sorry sight :( Any idea what happened to my beautiful plant?

Yes, I'm still alive. I've been doing a bit of DIY.

  6. Beautiful flowers Linda! The white lilies must almost glow at dusk. That upside down goldfinch is so funny to see. There is a frost advisory in place for north west NB tonight!! Frost! In the middle of July. Crazy. It was so chilly today I wore a jean jacket to town. I have a bouquet of sweet peas on the dining table and they smell heavenly. have a great time at the cottage! xx Pam

  8. That second picture with the delicate pink flower. Just beautiful... I agree..That little critter would have been perfect for my painting of "Little Critter".
Thought of you when I take care of three apples today. Did I slice them, yes. Did I eat them. Yes...after I covered them with sugar, cinnamon, butter and flour and baked them in a crust. Sure tasted good warm at 3 PM this afternoon... I think we'll call it dinner. haHa

  15. Well how cute is that upside down yellow bird! Another burst of amazing blooms at your Cottage - you must have the best soil, and so many flower plants! The Asian lily is gorgeous - I have never seen them in a garden, only in shops. And sweetpeas, always love them. Carried a bouquet of them when I was my sister's bridesmaid, back in the day.
