Cottage Sleepover.....

It was a great visit...

After my usual beach visit, to look for goodies, I went in and got busy.

I vacuumed the whole cottage, and put fresh linens and the electric blanket on our bed...

Polished all the glass upstairs...mirrors and windows...dusted all the surfaces...

All while my boyfriend got the water on lickety-split!

He started raking, as I was taking longer at my chores!   {Wonder why}

I changed my clothes...got my rubber boots on... grabbed my gloves and rake.

Found some beach glass...wore my new TOM'S, a bday gift from one of my daughters...While we ate dinner...we watched as the clouds rolled in...morning was very cloudy and much cooler...we left for home after a nice breakfast, and a quick cleanup.

As we headed down the Niagara Escarpment, into Grimsby,I captured this pic

of the Toronto Skyline...see the CN Tower? Unfortunately the power lines

could not be edited out!

Hope you are all well...

Todays weather is back to the grey dampness...Sunday was glorious, and we got the back yard here at home cleaned up...The birds were crazy too...I got a lot of great pics, that I will share soon.

The crochet is going strong...lots to show...soon! hahaha!!

At least I got this one done today!! I also did some groceries...cleaned the insides of most of the windows...watered my houseplants and made a delish dinner of Baked Ham...Scalloped Potatoes...Bok Choy and Brussels....gabbed on the phone for a while...

Oh...and I sorted thru all of my yarn scraps again...I have used up quite a bit, and thinking of a few small projects to use up some more bits and pieces.

boyfriend had bok choy...I had my Brussels!! 💚

That's it for now...

Looks like a lot of rain coming our way this week...

    Stay warm!!

       Cheers!  :o)

  6. I love beach glass and I don't see it anymore like I used to see it. I suppose people are more conscious now of discarding glass and that plastic has replaced much of our old glass containers that were discarded and then became beach glass. We see lots of feathers here along the bay, too...and I have a few that I keep and love.
Hope you have a great week,Linda. xo Diana

  8. What a sweet treasure trove your found on your beach - love the colours. You sure have been busy, but found time for the pretty yellow bird photo - what a cute little (species unknown to me) birdie. I see the CN Tower all right - went up there once with my family, me who hates heights. Nearly had a heard attack when I saw the glass floor. Put one toe on it, and clung to the wall, ha ha
