π§π§π§Thru The window...On A Very Rainy Day....π§π§π§
Hope you are all well...
We have had rain for 2 days now...except last night... the Sun came out just as we were sitting down to dinner...
I managed to get a few nice photos thru the kitchen window today...
Mr Cardinal came for a few peanuts that I threw to him...
He knows how to wrap me around his finger...for sure!!
I actually got MYSELF 2 dishcloths made for the cottage...
I sure hope they don't fall apart after one use! hahaha!!!
We will be off to the cottage in the morning...the rain is supposed to STOP!!
I can hardly wait to see all of the Daffodils and Tulips down there...
Have a great weekend...
See you all soon...
Cheers! :o)

It does look like a downpour.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have cardinals where we live. They are so beautiful!
They are! Wonder why they aren't out West???
DeleteI do love a good rain... and then for it to move along and let the sun shine again! But, it is always so beautiful after the rain. Everything seems to have a deeper color and freshness. Beautiful photos! I hope you enjoy your happy little dishcloths as much as I do! Looking forward to seeing the tulips and daffodils through your lens! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful...as long as I am tucked inside!
DeleteHopefully they will be plentiful!
Enjoy your weekend Tanna....
You sure know how to capture the best photos, even in the rain :) Your dishcloths look cute all folded up. Better take your winter woollies to the cottage ... it's cccccold out there this afternoon!
ReplyDeleteAnd you do as well Wendy...love your camping photos...
DeleteIt is cold here too....damp cold....π€
I love what you see through your eyes . . .
ReplyDeleteRaindrop windows . . . and all . . .
That cardinal would warm my heart too . . .
So creative you are in your crochet . . .
"Cottage kitchen" . . . will enjoy!
Very soggy here...but the flowers looked pretty!
DeleteCottage will love the dishcloths!
Happy weekend....
Better to get rain than snow!
ReplyDeleteCan't argue with that!
DeleteI love all of your photos, all the time. But these really got me :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Candice.....very nice of you....π
DeleteIt sure is pretty through your windows. Love those dishcloths! Have a great time at the cottage. I've been at the beach this week, but am heading back to the lake tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we get out there tomorrow....supposed to be darn windy!
DeleteDoes Cliff go back and forth with you?
Those are some great pictures through the window! Have a great time at the cottage. We will wait for your stunning photos of Tulips and Daffies!!!
ReplyDeleteXO Kris
Hi Kris....
DeleteWe stayed home today...:o(...gonna be really gusty at the cottage...will go tomorrow!
Happy weekend...
We had the meanest storm earlier today and now raining and storming again, but earlier was the worst. Oddly, mixed with lots of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteGreat dish towels. When I worked at the fabrc shoppe, women came in regularly to get the yarn to make those.
Still crappy here today...stayed home...LOVE making those dishcloths!!
DeleteColder here today but sun out. Nice enough to keep the air off.
DeleteHappy Weekend and boogie boogie.
Hahaha!!! You to Ivy!
DeleteWhen it rains all day you can bet it's my day off. ha ha! Well, it can feel like that's when it always rains, but it's not totally true. It would have been a great day to curl up with a book or drag out hat clay I brought into the house a few weeks ago, but I had too much running around today to stay home and play. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteYou have some mighty clean windows ad a beautiful garden.
:0)
I hate running around when it is raining...
DeleteGet that clay out, and be your artist self!!
Windows aren't really clean...just not sunny! hahaha!!
Have a great weekend Martha!
Your daffodils still look great! Ours have shriveled away until next year. :(
ReplyDeleteReally???
DeleteI think I will cut the rest that are blooming...might as well enjoy them inside...right??
Lots of rain for us as well, even saw lightning on the way home from work. This morning the sun is out - yay!! I hope you get some sunshine at the cottage this weekend. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteNo sun here...sadly...cottage on Sat am...
DeleteHave a nice weekend Jenn...
We have floods here..
ReplyDeletenot our home..but the area..and the adj town is in a state of emergency w/ what they call historic flooding....evacuations etc..
so I'll settle for the doom and gloom in my safe little spot:(
April has been..not pretty..
Love your pics..have fun Linda!
Oh dear...that sounds nasty!!
DeleteWe are waiting 'til Saturday, as the cottage is under a rain warning...and 50km winds!!!!!!
Bonne weekend Monique!!
Those are beautiful images, Linda. Just love them....rain does make for some pretty photographs! Have fun and I hope your dishcloths DO NOT fall apart. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Diana...
DeleteLove the cardinal, I think that his brother hangs out at our bird feeder. :) You must be at the cottage, hope the weather cooperates. Even my NY visit had erratic weather. +30 when I arrived, +11 when I flew home. My little grand d's are so cute and charming, always difficult to leave them. Take care and enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteWeather was good...and my daughter and Miss V came out! π
DeleteYou will see your cuties again soon....don't despair!
Have a great week....
The flowers do look pretty with the raindrops on them. At least you have flowers blooming! Mr. Cardinal sure adds a bright pop of colour in the yard too. The snow is pretty well melted here now but it's such a cold day and no sun. I have to keep reminding myself it's still only April. haha. Hope you have a drier week there.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam....you will have some very soon....and...yes....it is only April!
DeleteEnjoy your week....
Today is very dark and gloomy and I have one of those "low pressure" headaches .. you know, a nagging headache that will end when the weather gets better ?
ReplyDeleteWe have tropical storms off in the ocean somewhere so it is dark and gloomy in Florida today.
Another lovely thing about Buenos Aires ... they don't do this sort of weather lol
My oldest daughter gets those....luckily I do not....
DeleteHave a cup of tea....and snuggle in with the cats!
Happy Mr. Cardinal loving his peanuts!
ReplyDeleteI love flowers with droplets galore. So pretty and fresh.
Think kind thoughts... my next surgery is this Thursday. Nervous as hell!
Sent you an email....best of luck Suzanne...⭐️
DeleteSuch beautiful flowers!
