May........so far....

Hello everyone...
Finished the first week in May...
No rhyme nor reason to my order of photos...
Still at home...still being good...still missing everyone terribly...

Had 2 birthdays end of April...daughter Lissa and son Ryan...
Managed to make a gluten-free key lime pie, to share with Lissa...
And an Apple Crisp for  Ryan...
Social distancing practised....ALWAYS!!!
Got a wee bird and key chain made for Lissa...not much...but of course, much loved!!

Finished a blanket for my Grandsons First Birthday at the end of the month...
I can hardly believe that he is 1 already.....

Visited the cottage last week...another storm tossed more stones everywhere...not sure when we will get that cleaned up...remnants of Nov storm still there...and then we got a letter from the Health Dept in Haldimand Norfolk
(where our cottage is)
advising cottagers to STAY HOME!!! and will be enforcing a $5000/day fine for offenders...REALLY????????????...guess our very high tax dollars will be reduced???? I am sure not...I think we can go for the day...but not for an overnight extended period of time....just what we needed....😡

Anyway...with this chilly weather, we are happier at home...and the cottage needs so much cleanup on the grounds, that it is not all that inviting at this troubled time....😟

So......enjoy the pics...
Hope you are all well and safe at home...
Thanks for your continued support here...
Will hopefully get around to see how all of you are doing...

               See you all soon...

ps...I picked all the daffodils blooming at the cottage, and brought them home to enjoy.....πŸ’›

    OH....and 🌸🌸🌸HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO EVERYONE🌸🌸🌸

  1. I love the range of pictures and that you were able to get them birthday treats, to boot. Today here, it's snowing and very cold the heat is on. Burrrrrrrrrr.

Wow, on the fine. Just for going to your own cottage? Yikes!

  4. What a treat to see your post Linda. So many beautiful photos of the things I love: swans, daffodils, key lime pie, pebbles on the beach, cardinals, and the cutest sweetest little crotchet bird I ever saw. Who would not love to receive that as a key holder gift!! Pleased that you are being good, we must all take care. I am not happy they are lifting restrictions here: too soon imo! Our Govt also restricted people going to their holiday cottages, and were policing and fining people. Very tough, but our stats are extremely low. We hope it doesn't mean the worst is yet to come in Australia but best to be positive :) Happy birthday to the darling baby boy, a real cutie. Keep well dear Linda. xo

  6. HI Laurie...yes,we understand the hospital thing, but the area they have banned, is such a small part of Lake Erie...and cottagers up north are under no such orders!!! Hopefully soon we can get back to work down there...

  10. Happy Belated Mother's Day. I'm so enjoying your photos. I feel as if I am in the picture they are so real. Like I can reach out and touch the animals. And I wish I could reach through my computer and sample everything you make!!! Drooling ….As everyone else, taking one day at a time and thanking the Good Lord for one more day. Trying to keep my dearest issues at bay, so glad for medicines that help with the problems. Sending love and hugs

  11. What a delightful array of photos, daffodils, birds, ponies, what more could I want? Is that a sword in the stone in one of your photos, as in King Arthur?
